In the Bachelor degree of Energy Systems and Renewable Energies students acquire deeper knowledge in a range of different systems such as building energy systems, off-grid systems, industry supply systems and energy systems in general. The course also covers other important fields of studies such as cogeneration technology, heat pumps and energy storage systems for controlling energy generation and consumption capacities. Common career paths include recruitment by energy supply companies, jobs in the industry or with engineering service providers or planning offices, as well as the job profile of an independent consultant. This is a Dual study program consisting of academic study and vocational training or intense practical phases.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The program is taught entirely in English language. Sufficient language skills are essential to successfully complete the coursework. English proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS is not required

The International Master programme in Ecosystem Services provides students with the knowledge base and methods to analyse pressing environmental problems and to develop societally relevant solutions. A special focus lies on inter-transdisciplinary approaches from the natural and the social sciences in order to conserve and sustainably use biodiversity as well as to secure the sustainable provision of ecosystem services for present and future generations. Graduates of the programme will have access to career opportunities in various fields such as research and education, public administration, business, economic and policy consultancy, International organisations, non-governmental organisations or scientific management and coordination.

The Master programme in Experimental Geosciences includes the characterization of physical and chemical properties of Earth materials to Advanced our understanding of such properties. The Master programme in Experimental Geosciences encompasses a number of traditional scientific fields: mineralogy, crystallography, solid state physics, inorganic chemistry, material sciences, geochemistry and cosmochemistry, as well as geophysics. The environmental physics program focuses on understanding the complex relationships between atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, solid earth and climate. Special emphasis is placed on gaining experience in the application of state-of-the-art experimental methods, numerical data analysis using supercomputers and data interpretation via latest models.  The Institute of Environmental Physics (IUP), and the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz-Centre for Polar and Marine Research (AWI), are jointly undertaking the teaching of the program.

The Neurasmus program is a full-time Neuroscience study program offering a unique interdisciplinary and integrated approach of normal brain functions and diseases. It strongly emphasizes training in cutting-edge techniques in all major topics of brain research, from molecules to cognition. The Neurasmus curricula are completely embedded in international-oriented local Master programs of the partner universities. Different Partner universities include VU Amsterdam, University of Coimbra, Laval University in Québec, Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, University of Göttingen and University of Bordeaux.

Neurasmus : A European in Neuroscience

University of Göttingen

Bachelor for teaching at Hauptschule, Realschule, Secondary School and Comprehensive School is considered a so-called compulsory subject for the HRSGe teaching degree and can therefore be combined with any other major subject. Studying educational sciences is a compulsory part of teacher training for all student teachers - regardless of the combination of subjects chosen or the type of school.

Bachelor for teaching at primary schools can completed with combination with any other major subject. Studying educational sciences is a mandatory part of teacher training for all student teachers - regardless of the chosen combination of subjects or the type of school.

The European Wind Energy Master (EWEM) consortium is composed of four universities: Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg (UO). Upon successful completion of the programme, students are awarded a double Master degree; one diploma from each of two partner universities, involved in the chosen track. The program offers four tracks of study; namely they are - Wind Farms and Atmospheric Physics, Rotor Design, Electric Power Systems and Offshore Engineering. European Master of Science in Nuclear Fusion and Engineering Physics

The Master in European Management provides a unique intercultural study experience at leading European universities to prepare students for the demands of the Management labor market. Students in this program spend one year at the University of Tübingen and one year at the partner University of Strasbourg. The Europhotonics Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) is a Master program focusing on Advanced research and applied topics that will constitute the near and extended future scientific goals in the field of Photonics, with interdisciplinary applications. The aim of this Master program is to acknowledges the multifaceted threats to human life being imposed by overuse and overexploitation of freshwater resources and the ecosystems. Students are trained to understand the basic principles of all related management sectors such as ecology, economy, engineering, social and management sciences, along with the skills and the knowledge to identify relevant challenges and to develop tailored and integrated solutions.
