The Master of Applied Natural Sciences enables graduates of Bachelor programs in applied natural sciences to work in research fields comprising chemistry, physics and material sciences. The international Master of Science in Applied Natural Sciences integrates concepts of chemistry and physics and neighbouring sciences, such as environmental sciences, which is of increasing importance in terms of environmental protection. Due to Its interdisciplinary and applied approach, the program enables Its graduates to synthesize and characterize functional materials.

The course addresses topics of relevance to management and that are specific to the segment to qualify students to work in independent and executive positions. Courses such as International management, International business relations and International law as well as study time abroad prepare students for a career in an international environment. Information Management

Master programme in Social and Economic Data Science provides the knowledge and skills necessary to collect, manage and analyse diverse data sources created from administrative processes, network logs, social media, surveys or experiments. The program puts a heavy emphasis on foundational issues including problems of measurement, representation and causal inference which are often overlooked in current big data analytics. The course is tailored for students with a BA degree in the behavioural and social sciences, and a proven interest in quantitative and computational methods. 

The Semester contributions totaling 179 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administrative fee 70 EUR, Student services fee 95 EUR and Student body fee 14 EUR 

Proof of sufficient English language skills can also be proven through individual cases, an equivalent test checked and recognized by the corresponding Examination Board

The Master Management of Business Transformation follows the principle that the success of a transformation depends firstly on self reflection, secondly on empathy and understanding for other people and intelligent machines, and thirdly on understanding the cause effect relationships of the complex and dynamic ecosystem. Artificial intelligence (AI) is an interdisciplinary field that builds on the content of computer science, mathematics, physics and cognitive science, but also extends to many other areas. The aim of the new English-language degree programme is to educate AI experts who are familiar with the relevant algorithms, models and social challenges of AI, and who can develop and evaluate software systems with AI functionality. Having completed their studies, graduates will be able to elaborate solutions for standard and individual AI systems, to use innovative technologies in AI systems in industrial and non-industrial environments, and to strengthen their area of expertise.

The Master study programme Materials Science and Engineering offers students a specialised scientific education at a high level and with a research-based focus. The programme deals with the synthesis, characterisation and processing of all functional classes of materials, for example materials for energy generation, biomaterials, thermoelectronics, semiconductors, carbon fibres and organic light-emitting diodes (OLED). During the standard period of study of four semesters, Master students acquire in-depth knowledge in the core areas of materials science, materials physics and materials engineering.

The MA in Global History deals with the history of global interconnections and developments. The program is based on cooperation between the discipline of history and area studies. Polymer science is an interdisciplinary area comprised of chemical, physical, engineering, processing and theoretical aspects. It also has enormous impact on contemporary materials science. Its goal is to provide the basis for the creation and characterization of polymeric materials and an understanding for structure/property relationships. Polymer science is of increasing importance for everyone's daily life. Many modern functional materials, gears, and devices have polymers as integral parts. Not surprisingly, roughly 30% of all scientists in the chemical industry work in the field of polymers. Despite Its importance today and potential for future economic growth, there is no adequate university-level study program for polymer science in Germany. Program was jointly designed by polymer scientists of the three Berlin universities, Free University Berlin (FU), Humboldt University Berlin (HU), Technical University Berlin (TU) and the nearby University of Potsdam (UP) with the goal in mind to be competitive with renowned polymer centers abroad.
