International Business (International Finance) - Dual

The MA Contemporary East Asian Studies (CEAS) is an English-taught social science-based program with a contemporary and interdisciplinary profile. The focus of the program is the theoretical and problem-centered analysis of societies, politics and economies in East Asia and includes intensive training in an East Asian language.

The Semester contributions totaling 334.06 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Union fee 100.00 EUR, Social Contribution fee 5 EUR, Student union fee 16.00 EUR, VRR semester ticket fee 154.56 EUR and NRW ticket fee 58.50 EUR

One of the fundamental goals of English studies is to impart methodological competence in dealing with texts, a skill that is the basis for success in any field of work. This degree is internationally recognized and qualifies students for an Advanced Master degree. After successfully completing studies, there are numerous opportunities for students to contribute the skills they have acquired, such as critical text analysis and high communication skills, to the market, which is shaped by companies in the media and information society. GeT MA – the German Turkish Master Program in Social Sciences – offers an excellent academic experience in two of Europe’s vibrant capitals: Berlin, Germany and Ankara, Turkey. The program is designed for students from all over the world pursuing international careers in government agencies, diplomacy, NGOs, administration, consulting, journalism, teaching or research.
GeT MA is offered by two top universities: the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara. Students spend the first year of study at METU before coming to Berlin for the second year. Graduates receive a Dual-Master of Arts from both universities. In line with the international profile of GeT MA the language of instruction is English. However, students take additional language classes in Turkish, German or a third language.

The MSc study course comprises four semesters and is non-consecutive, ie it is not based on a specific Bachelor course. The study program with emphasis on research is focused on theoretical courses and current projects imparting a profound knowledge in various aspects of pharmaceutical medicine. By conducting own research projects students are to develop professional skills in the pharmaceutical sciences which are mainly applicable in the pharmaceutical or pharmacy-related industry and pharmaceutical research institutions.
You will learn about the day-to-day practice in the field of the pharmaceutical value chain as to promote interdisciplinary knowledge. Additionally focus will be set on the flow of information between the different phases of the drug development process and to develop better understanding in the complex international tasks and competencies in the pharmaceutical industry.
