The European Cultures and Society (EUCS) bachelor’s degree program focusing on European scholarship and research in the humanities  cultural studies and social sciences.

As a student in the EUCS program  you will acquire subject-specific and methodological skills in disciplines within the humanities  cultural studies and social sciences relevant to European Studies. You will also develop Advanced specialized knowledge of certain areas of European Studies  either from a cultural or social science perspective—the choice is yours.

A special feature of the program is Its project-based application of academic knowledge in the fields of research  journalism  art and scenography  or entrepreneurship  which prepares students for the practical challenges of their future careers.

South Asian Cultural and Religious History/Classical Indology

In the Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management you will not only deal with logistics processes, operations research, transportation models and value chains, but you will also be sensitized to current topics such as sustainability, smart mobility and capacity planning. The overarching aim of the postgraduate supply chain program is to provide graduates with tools and insights on how globalized logistics systems can be set up and sustainably maintained.

The DIU, founded in 2003 as a further education university of the TU Dresden, stands for academic education based on modern life plans. Dresden International University

Flensburg University (Europa-Universität Flensburg) is a public university in Flensburg, Germany. It was founded in 1994 and is Germany's northernmost university. Despite having full university status and the ability to award PhDs, Europa-Universität Flensburg primarily offers courses in education and other social science fields. The university offers German-Danish study courses in collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark in Snderborg, as well as through a partnership with the Fachhochschule Flensburg.
 
 There are five faculties, numbered Department I to Department V, each of these is divided into a number of institutes. The university employs 200 full-time employees and over 400 visiting professors and lecturers. The B.A. course in Communication and Teaching Science has been discontinued. The Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena is a public research university in Jena, Thuringia, Germany. The university was founded in 1558 and is one of Germany's ten oldest universities. It has six Nobel Prize winners, the most recent being Jena graduate. The university was at the epicenter of the emergence of German idealism and early Romanticism at the turn of the nineteenth century. As of 2014, the university had approximately 19,000 students and 375 professors enrolled. Herbert Kroemer, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2000.

The Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg (German: Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg) is a higher education and applied research institution in Hamburg, Germany. The Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, formerly known as Fachhochschule Hamburg, was founded in 1970. In terms of student enrollment, the HAW is Hamburg's second-largest university and Germany's fourth-largest applied sciences university.
 
 The Faculty of Technology and Computer Science is HAW Hamburg's largest faculty, with 163 professors teaching approximately 6,000 students across four departments and 21 courses. Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg)

Leipzig University, located in Leipzig, Free State of Saxony, Germany, is one of the world's oldest universities and the second-oldest university in Germany in terms of consecutive years of existence. The university was founded on December 2, 1409, with the four scholastic faculties. The university has been engaged in teaching and research without interruption for over 600 years.
 
 Today, the university has 14 faculties as of November 2021, with institutes and centers associated with each. It is Saxony's second-largest university, with over 29,000 students. There are now over 150 institutes, and the university offers 190 study programs leading to Bachelor's, Master's, Staatsexamen, Diplom (Master's equivalent), and Ph.D. degrees.

Leipzig University

Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, also known as MLU, is a public, research-oriented university in the German cities of Halle and Wittenberg. It is the largest and oldest university in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. MLU offers courses in both German and English that lead to academic degrees such as BA, BSc, MA, MSc, doctoral degrees, and Habilitation. MLU’s academic profile in the field of the humanities is shaped by the core research areas “Enlightenment – Religion – Knowledge” and “Society and Culture in Motion through Diffusion - Experiment - Institution”.

Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg

In the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Südwestfalen) is a renowned research university. It is one of the biggest of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia with more than 14,000 pupils. Iserlohn is home to the corporate office and one of the four campuses. The South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences includes four campuses, one in Lüdenscheid, one in Hagen, one in Meschede, and one in Soest (the seat). South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences

The Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) is a public, research-based Fachhochschule in Germany that is situated in Ingolstadt. It was established in 1994, with about 6,500 students enrolled across its five colleges, and provides more than 80 academic programs. Technology and business are the main areas of study and instruction. The main campus is situated in Ingolstadt's city core. Neuburg a der Donau is the location of the second campus.

The THI offers more than 80 courses of study in the five faculties of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering and Management and at the THI Business School. The Hochschule Ingolstadt is one of the strongest research universities in the field of applied science universities in Germany. 

Dual studies are possible at the THI in the undergraduate Bachelor's as well as in the Master programme. There are two modes of study: joint studies and studies with in-depth practical experience. In joint studies, the course is combined with vocational training (IHK/HWK degree). Studies with in-depth practical experience combine studying at the THI with periods of practical experience in a company without completion of vocational training.

With over 140 partner institutions, seven English-language bachelor's and master's level courses, and corporate partners globally, the THI has access to a wide network internationally. The THI's strong international orientation is also demonstrated by the variety of multi-year research programs and collaboration with international partners. 

The academic training at the THI also offers corporate programs for the qualification needs of partner companies such as BMW, Siemens, Daimler, Allianz or the regional clinic. Thus, around 120 companies regularly participate in the research projects of the THI, including large corporations such as Audi, BMW, Continental, Siemens as well as numerous SMEs and other research institutions.


Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt

The Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences (also known as THM in German) is a Fachhochschule in Germany that offers bachelor's and master's degree programs in the cities of Giessen, Friedberg, and Wetzlar. It was established in 1971.

The THM regards itself as having a specific obligation to facilitate the integration of refugees through the provision of educational opportunities and provides a wide range of future-oriented courses in the economic and engineering sciences.

The Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) is an applied sciences university with a strong focus on research and a wide-ranging domestic and international network. Its research tackles difficulties and concerns in society, the economy, technology, and the environment that are present today and that will arise in the future, and it turns those issues and challenges into novel concepts.

Touro College Berlin is a small independent American college in Berlin, Germany. As the first and only Jewish American college in Germany, it was established in 2003. The university is a part of the Touro College and University System, which has campuses across the globe, including in New York, Paris, Moscow, and Jerusalem. While all Touro Colleges are American-based, Touro College Berlin's students and professors are from all over the world, and English is the medium of teaching. At Touro Berlin, students receive the confidence and resources they need to start a successful career as well as preparation for the working world.

Undergraduate degrees in business management, psychology, and cybersecurity are available from Touro College Berlin. The Business Management degree offers a comprehensive understanding of fundamental business concepts with the option to concentrate on either Managerial Economics, Marketing, Management, or Finance. The thorough bachelor's degree in psychology covers a wide range of topics, including social, abnormal, cross-cultural, and industrial psychology.

Touro College Berlin

The Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, often known as TUBAF or TU Bergakademie Freiberg, is a public technological university located in the German city of Freiberg, Saxony. It was founded in 1765. The exploration, mining, extraction, processing, and recycling of natural resources and waste, as well as the creation of new materials, are its main objectives. It is currently the oldest mining and metallurgy university in the entire globe.

In Freiberg, more than 4,000 students are presently enrolled on 69 different programs of study that are grounded in science and practice. As professionals in business and industry, science and research, as well as public administration, our graduates are in high demand.

An extremely international university is Freiberg. With institutions in countries including China, France, Ghana, Italy, Poland, Russia, Thailand, and others, double-degree agreements are in place. The university grants international students about 30% of its PhD degrees.

TU Bergakademie Freiberg

On August 1st, 1971, the University of Applied Sciences (HSD for short) was established by merging many prominent regional educational institutions. HSD provides a wide variety of disciplines and is currently one of the biggest applied science universities in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Nearly 200 academics instruct more than 11000 students in 40 degree programs across seven faculties.

The academic program of HSD offers instruction and research in the interdisciplinary fields of design, technology, the social sector, and business studies. The focus is on business studies, media, social sciences, and cultural studies in addition to mechanical and process engineering, electrical engineering, and information technology. The only degrees offered at HSD are bachelor's and master's degrees.

HSD actively encourages international interchange by taking part in conferences and summer schools and has over 160 partner universities. They arrange for students to study and intern overseas, as well as many other chances for growth.

The globalization of all student, academic, and administrative matters is one of the six main goals of HSD. One of the key factors in promoting an international campus community is the exchange of students, professors, and administrative personnel. At the same time, international content in study programs is a crucial component. University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf

The University of Erfurt has successfully established itself in the domestic and international academic landscape since its refounding in 1994 with a clear cultural and social scientific profile. It is a centrally placed teaching and research institution with a focus on religion, the humanities and cultural studies, society, and teacher preparation. It has around 6,000 students, about 100 professorships, about 400 academic staff members, and about 300 administrative staff members.

The University encourages the intensive study and multidisciplinary research on its campus in the state capital, near the city center, by facilitating direct communication across its short distances.

The University of Erfurt aspires to communicate its scientific discoveries to society while also setting standards in basic research. In doing so, the Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, the Gotha Research Institutes, and the four faculties—the Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Catholic Theology—contribute their structural and task-related diversity to the overall concept, facilitating interdisciplinary, global, and collaborative research.

The Gotha Research Library, which has one of Germany's largest collections of early modern manuscripts, is part of the university.

In addition to the Erasmus program, the institution collaborates. In contrast to the Erasmus program, most cooperation agreements in non-European nations, unless specifically indicated differently, apply to the entire university and not just certain programs or subjects. The majority of the partner universities for this program are found outside of Europe.


The University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) is synonymous with veterinary medicine expertise going a long time. Since its establishment as the Roß-Arzney-Schule in 1778, it has maintained its independence, giving it an uncommon position in Germany. The TiHo became a university foundation at the start of 2003.

Six specialty centers, six clinics, 17 institutions, and two specialized units have been put up by the TiHo. Additionally, the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover operates three field offices where it trains students and carries out research projects: Ruthe, south of Hannover; Bakum, next to Vechta; and Büsum, on the North Sea.

The sole remaining independent veterinary medical facility in Germany is the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (German: Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover, TiHo), a university in Hanover. Both its employees and students frequently refer to it as TiHo.

There are about 2,400 students enrolled, including biology graduate students, PhD candidates, and doctoral candidates. 

Foreign applicants who are not citizens of EU member states or foreign applicants who are stateless and do not possess a German higher education admission certificate are eligible for 5% of the available study spots.
