Double Master Programme in Health Economics and Management

The Master program Matter to Life at the University of Göttingen is an interdisciplinary research-oriented course of study that qualifies for demanding tasks in research and development and leads to a Master of Science. The program is part of the Max Planck School Matter to Life, a joint initiative of several German universities and research institutes. Two different specific foci in Matter to Life is offered in this program in University of Göttingen and  Heidelberg University.

The Master program in Neurosciences offers excellent study and research conditions to prepare aspiring young scientists for a professional career in academia or science-related professions in the private or public sector. At any stage of their studies, the students are exposed to a broad spectrum of theoretical and practical training, individual counselling and guidance to prepare for taking well-informed decisions on their next career steps. Neurosciences

European Master in Animal Breeding and Genetics[ERASMUS]

Students after completing the Bachelor degree in the polyvalent two-subject Bachelor degree with a teaching option (BA and BSc.), can continue with a teaching-related Master degree (M.Ed.) either with a focus on primary school or secondary school . Only when successfully completed their Master degree they can go into the preparatory service (so-called traineeship).

Master in Molecular Biomedicine focus on the molecular mechanisms of cellular and disease-related processes. Molecular Biomedicine

Master of Science program in Mathematics is targeted at students with the university degree Bachelor of Science in mathematics or an equivalent subject. The following minors can be chosen: Natural sciences and technology (computer science, mechanical engineering or physics), Business mathematics (economy or business information systems), or Philosophy. The degree program teaches skills for analysis of abstract structures, recognising, phrasing and solving problems in mathematics and the minor.

Economics and Finance

University of Tübingen

The Master program in Neurobiology introduces students to current experimental and data-analytical methods of neuroscientific research and enables them to carry out scientific projects independently; further it also offers students in-depth instruction in the neurosciences, the opportunity to acquire wide-ranging skills in current methods of neuroscientific research and the training to address and solve scientific problems in this area independently. Courses cover cellular, systemic, behavioral, cognitive, evolutionary, and theoretical aspects of modern, integrative neuroscience. The focus of the program is on the integrative neurosciences of higher vertebrates. 

English-language Bachelor degree and Abitur with English as a first foreign language is accepted as proof of language requirement

Neurobiology

The Master program in Nano-Science aims to reach prospective students with a broad interest in different natural sciences. The program provides solid theoretical as well as practical basic knowledge in the subjects of biology, chemistry, and physics. Building on this knowledge, special nano scientific courses and modules are offered. This knowledge as a whole enables the future graduates to enter the sector of nanotechnology and nanoscience in research, development, and production.

Nano Science

Master in Economic geography provides information about the intersection of economics and geography in which economic aspects of geography and the geographical aspects of the economy. Students learn how to explain complex interrelations using theoretical knowledge, how to empirically investigate regional development processes, and how to develop sound regional policy strategies for action.
The double degree track is not a stand-alone programme, but an elective option in the Master programme in economic geography. Interested students indicate that they wish to take this option when applying for the Master programme. Five study places are allocated each year via an internal procedure. Master degree programme in Economic Geography at Leibniz Universität Hannover is available to some students as a double degree programme with the University of Groningen. Students who pursue the double degree track spend their first year in Hannover, and the second year in Groningen.
