The Master program global management (IGC) prepares you for leadership positions in the global economy. On the basis of research-based learning  experienced trainers from the private sector provide you with the necessary practical orientation. The course content prepares you for positions with leadership responsibility in marketing or sales  human resources  investment banking  accounting  logistics and supply chain management  consulting or the administration.  You learn both professional and soft skills systematically through group work and discussion in seminars and workshops. Since many of your fellow students come from different countries and 90% of the teaching staff at IGC has an international background  your intercultural skills are practiced intensively over the entire program. To strengthen your career perspectives you might want to consider an optional internship.

The Master program Creative Technologies combines audio-visual media technologies and software development studies with an artistic-creative exploration of novel forms of expression in film and digital media art. Creative-artistic computer scientists as well as technically oriented media designer come together in the context of the Film University to experiment with technology  creativity and film with an interdisciplinary approach.

Focus are all mechanisms that contribute to the magic of movies: from graphics  sound and visual effects over traditional production processes to novel forms of storytelling in XR (Virtual Reality  Mixed Reality  Augmented Reality)  cross-media  and interactive.

Creative technologies

The diversity and complexity of the problems to which mathematics can serve as part of the solution calls for the mastery of basic mathematical theories and techniques as well as the ability to independently learn and apply skills in other areas as needed. The goal of this programme is to prepare students for their future careers.

The amount 266.10 EUR consists of a 74.00 EUR basic fee for the student union, 90.60 EUR semester ticket for local transport, 68.50 EUR semester ticket for rail,  2.00 EUR culture ticket, 11.00 EUR contribution for the student body, 20.00 EUR additional fee Equipped with the Thoska chip card

International applicants who do not already have knowledge of German of at least level A2 (CEFR) are required to study German during the programme.

Mathematics

Friedrich Schiller University Jena

A major goal of this Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering is to prepare students for the current and future challenges of working as an electronics engineer. In order to take into account the increasing merging of electronic and information technology products, the course focuses on the technical content of the electronics and computer science disciplines.

Semester fee is composed as social contribution for the Student Services Organisation: 81.43 EUR, semester ticket North Rhine-Westphalia 193.50 EUR and General Student´s Committee contribution (AStA): 15.50 EUR

In TOEIC, the listening/reading level should be 490/455, The speaking level should be 180 and the writing level should be 180

Electronic engineering

Landscape Architecture

The Master Programme Professional IT Business and digitization provides in depth knowledge in the field of enterprise information technology. It contains a unique combination of in IT skills and economic aspects . The programme is aimed at people already working in the IT field as well as graduates of applied computer science and similar disciplines.

The semester contribution 310 EUR includes a 6-month Berlin public transport ticket

Proof of study in a university level programme conducted in English for at least one year can be used as proof of English proficiency

Professional IT Business and digitization

Master of Science Program focuses on the teaching of management knowledge, supplemented by political, intercultural and scientific content. Material Flow Management (MFM) is an interdisciplinary approach that encompasses knowledge areas in economics, natural sciences, law, engineering and communication science. The study program International Material Flow Management takes this approach into account through Its interdisciplinary module design with a focus on material flow management and business administration.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

MA programme in Multilingualism allows students to strengthen their background in theoretical linguistics, especially as applied to current research on multilingualism. It typically includes training in research methods (including data management, visualization, and statistics) and offers opportunities to conduct experimental research, with access to research labs in Konstanz. Students also have the chance to learn about multilingual teaching and to engage in interdisciplinary work with related disciplines, such as Political Science, Sociology and Psychology.

Road traffic is an important factor for the world’s economy. Road Traffic Engineering focuses on intelligent road transport systems, traffic flow optimization, interaction vehicle-road and vehicle-vehicle, planning and designing road traffic facilities, traffic simulation, language knowledge and intercultural competence.

The Digital Technology and Management degree program provides interdisciplinary and application-oriented theoretical and methodological knowledge as well as practical experience in the areas of information and communication technology, operational value creation processes and management in international companies. This interdisciplinary, research-oriented Master program is aimed both at students of theoretical physics with a strong mathematical inclination and at students of mathematics with a strong interest in physical applications. The curriculum shall enable students to understand the mathematically precise formulation and the physical relevance of scientific work of partly interdisciplinary nature, to assess it critically and to present Its content in a comprehensive way.
