The Heidelberg University for Jewish Studies is a hotbed of academic debate on all aspects of Jewish religion, history, culture, and society. The proximity to the historical heritage of the landscape in which Ashkenaz was born provides scientific and religious impulses for university work. She is, however, always interested in Jewish cultures as a whole across geographic and temporal spaces: in the past and present, as self-assured Judaism, as a diaspora, and in the land of Israel.
 
 The Heidelberg University for Jewish Studies welcomes all students and academics, regardless of nationality or religious beliefs. The scientific library Albert Einstein, with seminar rooms in between, is opposite the corresponding teaching house, the Beth Midrash; here is the place of religious learning of the basic texts of Judaism with the university rabbi and members of the academic faculty. The kosher canteen serves university students and provides a place for relaxation and socializing.
 
 The university sharpens the view of religion, history, culture, and society through the interaction of internal and external perspectives. Philip I, Landgrave of Hesse, founded the Philipps University of Marburg in 1527, making it the oldest still-operating Protestant university in the world as well as one of Germany's oldest universities. With roughly 23,500 students and 7,500 staff members, it is presently a public university of the state of Hesse that is situated in Marburg, a town with 76,000 residents, with university facilities scattered across or near the town center. 
 
 The highest proportion of international students in Hesse, at around 14%, attend this school. Additionally, it provides student exchanges through the Erasmus program and an international summer university program. Today, it offers excellent teaching in a wide range of subjects in a total of 16 departments. Future-oriented topics with high relevance for society determine research in Marburg. With 13 Leibniz Prize winners, the Philipps University is one of the leading research institutions in the state of Hesse. Almost all scientific disciplines, with the exception of engineering, are represented at the Philipps University.
 
 The Marburg campus of Philipps University provides 70 master's-level courses and 36 bachelor's-level courses. Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences

The public research institution known as the University of Regensburg (German: Universität Regensburg) is situated in the UNESCO-designated historic city of Regensburg, Bavaria. On July 18, 1962, the university was established.

The university is located south of Regensburg's inner city on a slight elevation south of the Danube River, right next to the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences, and next to the A 3 autobahn. It is wholly contained inside one central campus. 

The University of Regensburg educates more than 20,000 students and employs over 4,200 people, including 312 professors, in addition to the connected university hospital.

The Natural Sciences (Mathematics, Physics, Bio-Sciences, Chemistry, and Pharmacy), the Humanities (History, Philology), and Medicine are important areas of study. The SFB 1085 "Higher Invariants - Interactions between Arithmetic Geometry and Global Analysis" of the Faculty of Mathematics and the CRC/Transregio 55 "Hadron Physics from Lattice QCD" of the Faculty of Physics are two collaborative research centers currently supported by the German Research Association (DFG), along with four research units and five interdisciplinary graduate colleges. More than 30 EU projects include the university.

The institution offers a wide range of traditional study programs through its eleven faculties. One of the first German universities to implement modularized study programs based on the Bologna model was the university. Universität Regensburg

The University of Greifswald is a university based in the Hanseatic city of Greifswald. It was founded in 1456 and is one of the oldest universities in Central Europe.

It is a comprehensive university because of the variety of topics it offers. Around 10,400 students attend school in Greifswald, with about two-thirds coming from outside Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, including numerous Erasmus and other foreign students from over 90 nations. Every year, a large number of students from all over the world come to Greifswald for a variety of reasons, including full-time study, student exchanges, internships, language courses, and more. Like people themselves, the opportunities are varied.

The university now has 840 international students. The majority of  international students are from Russia and the Syrian Arab Republic. International collaborations in both research and education have reached numerous continents and nations. More than 200 universities maintain exchange relationships with the university today. Presently, there are scholars and students from more than 90 different nations who are studying abroad. 

A total of more than 100 degree-granting courses, many of which are interdisciplinary, are offered by five faculties, along with 13 courses for continuing education.

The University of Greifswald has signed agreements with academic institutions all over the world, and new collaborations are often formed. It has 186 Erasmus partnerships at 600 locations throughout 39 countries, as well as 29 university partnerships.
