Environmental Engineering program with a Master of Science degree at the TU Hamburg is aimed at ambitious engineers in the fields of environmental engineering, water management, civil engineering and related disciplines.
The International Master Program in Environmental Engineering at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) focuses on current developments in environmental technology, while also providing a solid grounding in the subject’s scientific and economic foundations. Students can specialise in one of three areas: Water, Waste and Energy or Biotechnology.
Note: All Master of Science degree programs at the TU Hamburg can be studied dual. The study concept combines complete university studies with professional practice in the engineering field. The students are employed by one of our cooperating companies and, as cohorts across study programs, represent the entire spectrum of engineering sciences. The program is rounded off by seminars on the development of social skills, so that graduates can face the challenges of the working world in a responsible manner.

The German-French integrated Master degree in teaching in secondary education is primarily aimed at graduates of the integrated teaching Bachelor program in Mainz-Dijon. It builds on the achievements made in the Bachelor degree and thus makes it possible to maintain the binational orientation of the course. After completing the M.Ed. Mainz-Dijon choose whether to complete the practical school training nationally or complete the training binationally in the German-French preparatory service.

The Master program gives an overview in the fields of Neurobiology, Sociobiology and Ecology. This includes aspects of neurogenetics and behavior as well as the interaction of individuals, social groups and large populations in complex and variable ecosystems. Students become familiar with various aspects of Neurobiology and Organismic Biology with a special focus on Neuroethology. They know to approach scientific problems both theoretically and experimentally, and based on the results obtained to further develop scientific models and hypotheses.

Electrical Vehicle Propulsion and Control (E-PiCo) is an integrated Master course designed and conducted by partner institutions sharing a common vision of e-mobility: Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France, Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, Germany, Università degli Studi dell’Aquila, Italy and Universitatea Politehnica din Bucuresti, Romania.
E-PiCo is a 2-year Master programme that offers useful and necessary multidisciplinary topics in the e-mobility field. E-PiCo will provide technical and scientific solutions to the issue of fossil consumption and greenhouse gas emission. It is devised to train students in the field of e-mobility in order to have them work towards ecological transition. It is directly applicable to industry by training future electric propulsion system expert graduates.
