The Master degree program 'Energy and Environmental Management - Industrial Countries' provides the necessary knowledge and skills to design the energy system required for the future. To cope with the biggest challenge of the 21st century  man-made climate change  we must convert 100% of the world's energy supply to renewable energy sources over the next few decades and to optimize the supply and use of energy.

Both the teaching and research work within the Master program focuses on the transformation from fossil energy systems to 100% renewable energy systems in order to achieve the goal of having a maximum increase of the global average temperature of 1.5°C by the year 2050. In order to achieve this  energy system models are built  and measures are developed to allow for the implementation of renewable energy systems. Additionally  political economy studies help to identify barriers of the transformation and to develop appropriate local solutions. In doing so  we do not lose sight of the socially just and environmentally compatible perspectives in addition to the technical and economic perspectives. The possibilities of energy sufficiency and sustainability as well as the investigation of justice and gender aspects also play special role within the team’s research.



Courses in the degree program 'Industrialized Countries' are mainly taught in English. Only individual elective modules are in German. This enables students without German language skills to complete the Master degree program in Energy and Environmental Management.

This degree program is currently not subject to any admission restrictions.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Jazz-Institute Berlin (JIB) emerged from cooperation between the College of Music “Hanns Eisler” Berlin and Berlin University of the Arts. A new, pioneering institute was created from the recognized jazz departments at each institution, where the Master programmes European Jazz Master are offered.The Jazz Institute features guest bookings by well-known artists and practical experience in a music scene currently going through a process of change.

The admission procedure consists of the pre-selection and the entrance examination.

The amount 320 EUR consists of a social contribution for the studierendenwerk BERLIN the contribution for the student representation the enrolment, re-enrolment fees, a semester ticket (participation in public transport) and 30  for participation in the admission

provides the necessary education, opening doors to leadership and consulting
positions in international companies. The goal is to identify changes in the
business environment and optimize a company’s competitive positioning in the
marketplace.FHM’s Master of Business Administration and Technology is designed to
prepare program graduates for top-management positions in innovative companies.
The MBA General Technology Management program addresses these requirements
through solid academic contents and a high degree of practical application in close
cooperation with international firms. 

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Language pre-requisites for international applicants includes Proof of German language skills

Applicants whose bachelor’s degree was made up of less than 210 credit points can be admitted to the programme under certain conditions. The Applicants has to successfully complete modules adding up to the difference between the credit points gained in the bachelor’s degree and 210 CP. These specific modules are to be defined by an admission committee.

Mining and programming supports to reveal insights that can be used to communicate, capture and maintain intelligence for businesses and organizations.The primary purpose of data science is to create and leverage various forms of data in order to better understand trends and phenomena.

The Master program in Advanced General Dental Practice is jointly offered by the University of Duisburg-Essen and the IMC. This course uses a blended learning concept; theoretical contents that are conveyed through a e-learning platform e-med via the internet, together with practical clinical courses, Advanced training, lectures and seminars in their own virtual conference system. This Master course is an additional qualification for licensed dentists to deepen and intensify all fields of practical dentistry.

It provides dual-education (or cooperative education) bachelor's degree programs in business administration, engineering, and social services in collaboration with industry and non-profit institutions. It began a limited master's program in 2011.
 
 The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) is Germany's first higher education institution to combine academic studies with on-the-job training. DHBW was founded on March 1, 2009, and its origins can be traced back to the Berufsakademie Baden-Wurttemberg. Today, the university continues the tradition of phenomenally successful and cooperative education. 
 
 Throughout its nine locations and three campuses, the university offers a broad range of undergraduate study programmes in the field of business, engineering, and social work. All degree programmes are both nationally and internationally accredited, count as intensive study programmes and are worth 210 ECTS credits. The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, often known as HSRW or Hochschule Rhein-Waal, is a new and rapidly expanding public university in Germany that was founded for the 2009–10 winter semester. The bulk of its degree programs are offered entirely in English, making it the most globally focused institution in Germany.
 
 The two campuses of HSRW are situated in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort. The German Rhine and the Dutch Waal are the inspirations for the names of the university. Through its four faculties—the Faculty of Technology & Bionics, Faculty of Life Sciences, Faculty of Society and Economics, and Faculty of Communication and Environment—it provides a variety of academic programs in both English and German, all are accredited by AQAS and ASIIN.
