International Business (International Entrepreneurship) - Dual

Joint European Master in Interdisciplinary Mathematics addresses several fields of interest from applied disciplines, specifically in biology and medicine on the one side, and industry and manufacturing on the other side. Our students acquire modelling skills and computational expertise needed to tackle practical problems in those fields, with a wide range of modelling techniques. However, each specialization branch provides more specific skills that are best suited to face problems arising in a selected list of contexts.
Note: All students will spend the first semester at UAQ. For the second semester, the cohort is split into two groups, one spending second semester in Hamburg (TUHH), the other one in Vienna (TUW).

The Semester contributions totaling 338.80 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student self-administration (AStA) fee 18.40 EUR, Student Union fee 85.00 EUR, Semester Ticket fee 182.40 EUR, Semester Ticket hardship fee 3.00 EUR and Administration fee 50 EUR

Applicants who have conducted their university or secondary-school studies in an English-speaking institution will only have to verify that English is the medium of instruction in such institutions (to this purpose, you will find a dedicated section in the application form - no certificate submission required)

The Bachelor of Arts with American studies learn the theoretical fundamentals of the subject as well as practical language skills and intercultural competence. This program intended for students with a wide-ranging interest in the languages, the literature, the cultures, and the history of North American.  American Studies is interdisciplinary and includes literature, culture, history, social policy, and politics. The programme consists of a core with 9 modules and a minor with 10 modules as part of programme structure.

American Studies (Two-subject)

Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz

 The protection and the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems are at the center of the MSc Environmental Sciences programme at Freiburg University. Environmental Sciences is a comparatively young discipline, which deals with the impact of humans on the environment. The Environmental Sciences are shaped by interdisciplinary links with Forest Sciences, Geosciences, Geography and Hydrology. By combining theory-driven modules with a number of application-oriented modules, students are provided with opportunities to apply and develop strategies for environmental problems at a regional, national and international level. 

The Semester contributions totaling 161 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Students union fee (SWFR) 84 EUR, Administrative fee 70 EUR and student council fee 7 EUR

Environmental Sciences

A Master in Material Sciences and Industrial Heritage Conservation opens excellent new job prospects, provides the opportunity to learn more about sustainability issues, and prepares for organisational and leadership assignments. Materials science is a cross-sectional discipline in engineering that accompanies products throughout their entire life span. Graduates will develop a technical comprehension of damages caused by aging, tear and wear and corrosion and assess those regarding their cultural dimension and impact and learn to  resolve such challenges.

The languages ​​of instruction are English and German; the Mineral Resource Engineering major can also be completed entirely in English.

The Semester contributions totaling 240.96 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student body fee 27.00 EUR, VRR semester ticket fee 154.56 EUR and NRW semester ticket fee 59.40 EUR

Completion of degree program in English is also accepted as proof of language proficiency

English Studies allows students to deal with the English language and literature in the past and present and get to know them in their cultural and social context. The Two-subject Bachelor degree pursues four study goals, one of which includes Scientific study objective, teaching at elementary schools, teacher in grammar schools, teaching at secondary and secondary schools. In principle, English Studies can be combined with all other subjects of the Two-subject Bachelor degree.

The Master Programme Public Management in International Cooperation – Designing African European and Intra-African Relations (PMIC) is all about improving the capabilities of local, regional, and international mainly public actors working in African-European or Intra-African relations to cooperate internationally. The extra-occupational PMIC Master programme has been developed in close cooperation of partner universities in Germany, Ethiopia, Senegal, and South Africa, namely the University of Applied Administrative Sciences Kehl, the Ethiopian Civil Service University in Addis Ababa, the Centre Africain d'Études Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG) and the Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) in Dakar, and Stellenbosch University nearby Cape Town. The programme is run by the University of Kehl, Germany, in close cooperation with Its partners.
