Communication and Information Technology programme with a highly research-oriented curriculum, teaching from solid fundamentals and state-of-the-art methods to up-to-date content from wireless communications, signal processing, optical communication devices, integrated circuits, RF engineering, sensor principles, machine learning and embedded systems.Core subjects as well as various specialisation modules provide a broad, yet in-depth background aimed at the above areas and allow for a study focus according to personal interests. By choosing specific modules, an up-to-date specialisation in either Communications Engineering, Communications Circuits and Systems, Intelligent Embedded Systems or Sensor Circuits and Systems is achieved.

The programme is taught entirely in English; additional German language classes are part of the programme.

The application process consists of two parts - a pre-application phase for all applicants, followed by a full application for selected pre-applicants. A first assessment of your qualification will be given after you enter all the required information in our pre-application form. As a second step, after we receive your full application, we check whether your qualification is suitable for successfully attending Communication and Information Technology.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The ICT Innovation Master program combines a technical major subject with innovation and entrepreneurship as a minor subject to provide graduates of Bachelor programs in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering and other related subject areas the opportunity to study in a unique program leading to a double degree from two leading European universities. Students who successfully complete the program will also be awarded a certificate from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).

ICT Innovation

Technische Universität Berlin

Mathematics in Operations Research Master program is tailored to students who are interested in a demanding vocational education and training, with emphasis on mathematical optimization and the other subdisciplines of applied mathematics. The course content is complemented by a minor that can be chosen from the areas of economics, computer science or business informatics.

The language of instruction for this program is German or English. Depending on the focus area you choose, you can study in German, English or both languages

Mathematics in Operation Research

Technical University of Munich

Cartography is a Master of Science Programme in cooperation with four universities in Munich, Vienna, Dresden and Twente. It focuses on a broad education in cartography and geoinformatics. The content of the program focuses chiefly on methods and applications in the areas of data modelling, data analysis and the visualisation of geographical information. The qualification of Master in Cartography opens up excellent professional opportunities on national and international levels, both in the private sector and in administration or research.

Technische Universität Dresden

The aim of the Cognitive Science Master program is to impart in-depth research-oriented cognitive science knowledge. These are created in the competence network of social sciences and computer science as well as biology and neurosciences. Competence network means the interlocking of relevant competencies of the individual disciplines involved with an orientation towards people, technology, economy, organization, communication and behavior.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Master program in Global Change Ecology is devoted to understanding and analyzing the most important and consequential environmental concern of the 21st century namely, Global Change. The elite study program combines expertise of the Universities of Bayreuth and Augsburg, with that of Bavarian research institutions, and economic, administrative and international organisations. The program aims to integrate students into current developments in the rapidly changing scientific field of global change research.

The Bachelor programme in Ecosystem Sciences mediates the necessary basis for research and understanding complex ecosystems. It is research-oriented and focuses on practical training in scientific methods, field and laboratory work, and data analysis and modelling. Students will get a solid grounding in practical skills like experimental design and scientific presentation. Also, the program supports students in developing critical thinking, systematic problem-solving, and other transferable skills. The Master of Science in Physics is a research-oriented study program. In the first year, the studies comprise required classes in the areas of experimental physics and theoretical physics, as well as required modules that may come from other areas, preferably from the natural-sciences/technical department. The second year is a dedicated research phase that takes place in a research group at the department.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a pathway in Information Systems is a program designed to provide Advanced skills in business management, strategy and other key business disciplines. The Master program in Business Management with focus in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence aims on providing students with the knowledge about analyzing and interpreting complex data sets that are relevant to business.
