To cope with the biggest challenge of the 21st century  man-made climate change  we must convert 100% of the world's energy supply to renewable energy sources over the next few decades and to optimize the supply and use of energy.

Both the teaching and research work within the Master program focuses on the transformation from fossil energy systems to 100% renewable energy systems in order to achieve the goal of having a maximum increase of the global average temperature of 1.5°C by the year 2050. In order to achieve this  energy system models are built  and measures are developed to allow for the implementation of renewable energy systems. Bachelor in International Business Administration - Healthcare Management focus on general and international business education that allows to work in a range of industries. In this students will learn about innovation management, digital business models and quality management. Students will know how to lead intercultural teams, how to start a company and how to assess the viability of different business projects. Students will gain an understanding of accounting, supply chain management, economics, and service management. Students can understand how socio-economic factors have an influence on health and comprehend the concepts of health literacy, epidemiology, and public health. The Master program in British and north American cultural studies focuses on theories of and operative elements within cultural practices, primarily in Great Britain and North American, but also in those colonial and postcolonial spaces dominated by British and American culture. The Master degree enables students to critically reflect on cultural phenomena, as well as on their own cultural position and embeddedness within global structures. Furthermore, it allows students to develop an academic understanding of different forms of cultural contexts, whether as structures, systems, or sometimes as pressures. Climate change poses a major threat to all aspects of life on Earth. Findings regarding this phenomenon are alarming and indisputable, and facets of it are present everywhere. While the knowledge base about the dimension and dynamics of climate change is constantly growing and the reasons and driving forces are generally well understood, the management of climate change is a complex challenge. Interdisciplinary skills are necessary in order to develop mitigation and adaptation strategies in the realm of land-use and nature management. The MCC focuses on solution-building for climate change mitigation and adaptation at farm to landscape level.

Note: Applicants with less than 210 ECTS can also apply for this program provided that they acquire additional credit points through an internship, which increases the duration of the course to a total of four semesters (120 ECTS).
