Information management has the task of ensuring the availability of the production factor information. This service is offered by information managers in scientific libraries, in Internet agencies and in companies in the industrial and service sectors. In the Bachelor program you will learn the methods and specialist knowledge of information work in a practical way. This includes, for example, the creation of databases, electronic publishing and the use of software for research, processing and evaluation of information. Knowledge of applied computer science and the professional handling of modern information technology are also part of your future requirement profile. The study program stands for a high degree of practical orientation. Practical exercises complement lectures and seminars. Project work, excursions and courses by external teachers with practical experience ensure reference to current developments in the industry. The two practical phases are also an important part.
