The BA Interior Architecture/Interior Design program provides students with the skills and knowledge to develop and apply creative and sustainable solutions in the field of interior architecture and interior design. The program is firmly grounded in the vibrant city of Berlin but taught exclusively in English and geared towards building an international practice. Students explore the relationship between the spatial environment and Its users and inhabitants. They are encouraged to pursue experimental approaches to interiors and develop the flexibility to accommodate changing living conditions. They learn to conceptualize  plan  and realize interior spaces and communicate their ideas in shifting cultural contexts.

*Interior Architecture is a protected profession in Germany. In order to be entitled to use the title “Interior Architect” professional practice and registration with the Chamber of Architects is obligatory.

The program is firmly grounded in the vibrant city of Berlin but taught exclusively in English and geared towards building an international practice.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

If you have not completed high school in a majority-English speaking country (ie. USA  UK  Canada  Australia  Ireland  New Zealand)  an approved language exam is required in order to qualify for admission. You are welcome to attend the internal Berlin International language proficiency exam. It will be hosted via the software MS Teams and participation can only be offered after an application to one of our programs

The number of available study opportunities is restricted. Admission eligibility is based on previous degree  professional experiences  and knowledge of the English language.

Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences was renamed RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (German: Hochschule RheinMain), a public university in the state of Hesse with campuses in Wiesbaden and Rüsselsheim am Main.  The five main faculties are broken up into study area.
