The (Research) Master degree programme in Quantitative Economics (QE) is organized jointly by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and the Center for Mathematical Economics (IMW). Its quantitative analytical approach to economics provides the relevant skills to model and solve economic problems on an abstract level and to transfer the analytic solutions to real world applications. This encourages a flexible and creative approach to complex economic issues like those found typically in the real world.
Students can choose between two different tracks of the Master degree programme: The regular programme QE and the international track of QE. Both offer the same contents but the international track includes usually student exchanges at partner universities  because one of the two examiners of the Master thesis needs to be a member of the partner university.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

 Their study program is specialized, fully accredited, and intensive, making it suitable for both lawyers and science/engineering graduates, as well as students from other backgrounds. German public university of applied sciences Pforzheim University. Before it developed into one of the most significant and research-focused institutions of applied sciences in Germany, it was founded in Pforzheim to satisfy the demand for specialists in the jewelry industry and science. With associated institutes dispersed around Pforzheim, the campus' primary buildings are situated in the southern section of the city (Tiefenbronner Straße). One of just eleven universities in Germany to have obtained AACSB accreditation is the Pforzheim University Business School.
 
 56% of students are enrolled in the School of Business, 33% in the School of Engineering, and 11% in the School of Design. A wide variety of courses in jewellery, accessory design, visual communication, industrial design, transportation design, etc. are available through the university at DESIGN PF. Pforzheim University

Philip I, Landgrave of Hesse, founded the Philipps University of Marburg in 1527, making it the oldest still-operating Protestant university in the world as well as one of Germany's oldest universities. The Ruhr University Bochum (German: Ruhr-Universität Bochum, RUB) is a public research university located in the southern hills of the central Ruhr area, Bochum, Germany.  One of the first universities in Germany to offer international bachelor's and master's degrees in place of the conventional Diplom and Magister was the University of Bochum. With a few exceptions, such as the law school, all of the Ruhr-faculties University's offer these degrees. Ruhr-Universität Bochum

Public research university Saarland University is situated in Saarbrücken, the state capital of Germany's Saarland. In collaboration with France, it was established in Homburg in 1948. Saarland University

In the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Südwestfalen) is a renowned research university. It is one of the biggest of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia with more than 14,000 pupils. Iserlohn is home to the corporate office and one of the four campuses. The Cologne University of Applied Sciences, often known as TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences (German: Technische Hochschule Köln, abbreviated TH Köln), was founded in 1971 and is a higher education institution in Cologne, Germany.

At TH Köln, approximately 6,500 students enroll in classes each year. Approximately 25,000 students from 120 different countries are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at this time. 1,600 employees and 440 professors also share their potential.

Applied natural sciences, architecture, and construction, information and communication, computer science, engineering, culture, society, and social sciences, as well as business studies, are among the subjects they cover. TH Köln - Cologne University of Applied Sciences

The University of Applied Sciences for Intercultural Theology Hermannsburg (FIT) was founded and accredited in 2012. It is also a unique location for interactions between people of different religions and cultures. Students from Germany and throughout the world live and study together, sharing their varied theological and cultural origins. 92 students from 33 different nations are currently enrolled at the FIT, including those enrolled in the Master's program in "Intercultural Theology," which is provided in collaboration with the University of Göttingen.
At FIT, students can study intercultural theology from countries including Egypt, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Germany, Georgia, Ghana, India, Iran, Cameroon, Kenya, Korea, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, USA, and Belarus.

The goal of the research project is to promote academic achievements in the areas of migration and religion, international diaconia, and development in an environment related to the church and to establish the FIT as a reputable institution for intercultural, theological, and interfaith scholarship.

The following fields are the focus of the academic research conducted by FIT faculty members in conformity with this objective:

The FIT library is centrally placed on the campus grounds and houses around 65,000 books, many of which are in the subjects of intercultural theology, mission studies, history of religion and Christianity, bible studies, migration, social work, and development studies. Students, instructors, and staff at FIT have continuous access to the library.

University of Applied Sciences for Intercultural Theology (FIT) Hermannsburg

In the center of the Ruhr Metropolitan Region sits the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), one of the largest and youngest universities in Germany. Its wide range of topics includes everything from economics, engineering, natural sciences, and health to humanities, social sciences, and education.
Since its foundation in 2003, the UDE has developed into a globally recognized research university.

The UDE offers a wide range of services, some of which focus on interdisciplinary areas such as water research, urban systems, biomedical sciences, nanosciences, and biomedical sciences. The processes of lifelong learning and socialization are another important area of study.

The UDE is a desirable location for research-based teaching thanks to its innovative and digitally-enabled teaching and learning methods. It provides 267-degree programs, including 127 teacher preparation programs, to its 41,740 students from more than 130 countries.

The UDE is held up as an example of how educational equity may be achieved at a university on a national level. Numerous initiatives and programmes support young people with potential. The UDE prides itself on being a diverse, inclusive environment where staff, researchers, and students can grow professionally. By doing this, a widespread, resource-conserving development is sought after.

Under the auspices of the Universitätsallianz Ruhr, the UDE has a strategic alliance with the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the Technische Universität Dortmund (UA Ruhr). University of Duisburg-Essen

The University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) is synonymous with veterinary medicine expertise going a long time. Since its establishment as the Roß-Arzney-Schule in 1778, it has maintained its independence, giving it an uncommon position in Germany. The TiHo became a university foundation at the start of 2003.

Six specialty centers, six clinics, 17 institutions, and two specialized units have been put up by the TiHo. Additionally, the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover operates three field offices where it trains students and carries out research projects: Ruthe, south of Hannover; Bakum, next to Vechta; and Büsum, on the North Sea.

The sole remaining independent veterinary medical facility in Germany is the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (German: Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover, TiHo), a university in Hanover. Both its employees and students frequently refer to it as TiHo.

Research at the TiHo focuses on studying and for animals, as well as translating that knowledge to study humans. The TiHo's primary areas of interest include:

Foreign applicants who are not citizens of EU member states or foreign applicants who are stateless and do not possess a German higher education admission certificate are eligible for 5% of the available study spots.
