The international study programme Chemistry of Materials is research-oriented and provides  based on the education in a qualified undergraduate degree programme  the ability to work independently in a modern  interdisciplinary field at the interface between chemistry  physics and materials science. The study programme provides extensive knowledge of synthesis  chemistry and the properties of novel functional materials. The entire spectrum from the molecule via nanoscale materials to the bulk materials will be discussed. A particular focus is given on Advanced methods of industrial materials synthesis and chemical processing  such as nanomaterials  thin films  macromolecular materials  glasses and ceramics  and materials for energy. In these fields  both extensive experimental-analytical skills and computer simulation from atomistic to meso- and macroscopic length scale are of particular interest.

Chemistry of Materials

In this Master programme will learn to conduct independent academic work in the modern  interdisciplinary field of Molecular Life Sciences. Key issues in genetics  cell and developmental biology will be discussed and critically analysed. The primary focus of these analyses is in both a theoretical and a practical sense  molecular network analyses on various levels (genomic  proteomic  and metabolomics).In the first year of the programme  students will already take three Advanced courses from the areas of developmental biology  cell biology  molecular genetics  system biology  and biophysics in addition to the core courses required for all students. The departments of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geoinformatics, and Surveying are included in the faculty of the School of Engineering. The departments of Communication Design, Media Design/Time-Based Media, and Interior Architecture are included in the faculty for the School of Design.

Currently, the library is spread out between Campus and Holzstraße. Each faculty located at these places has access to the media through the libraries there: economics is located at Campus, while engineering and design is located at Holzstraße.

The University of Applied Sciences library offer books, periodicals, electronic resources, and videos for every subject area. Additionally, it provides general reference books, weekly and daily newspapers, etc. Everyone generally has free access to the inventory.

There is also an AStA at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The acting executive board of the (constituted) student body at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences is the General Students' Committee, also known as AStA (German: Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss). Consequently, it is regarded as the student body government and the student representation body.

The University of Greifswald is a university based in the Hanseatic city of Greifswald. It was founded in 1456 and is one of the oldest universities in Central Europe.

It is a comprehensive university because of the variety of topics it offers. Around 10,400 students attend school in Greifswald, with about two-thirds coming from outside Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, including numerous Erasmus and other foreign students from over 90 nations. Every year, a large number of students from all over the world come to Greifswald for a variety of reasons, including full-time study, student exchanges, internships, language courses, and more. Like people themselves, the opportunities are varied.

The university now has 840 international students. The majority of  international students are from Russia and the Syrian Arab Republic. International collaborations in both research and education have reached numerous continents and nations. More than 200 universities maintain exchange relationships with the university today. Presently, there are scholars and students from more than 90 different nations who are studying abroad. 

A total of more than 100 degree-granting courses, many of which are interdisciplinary, are offered by five faculties, along with 13 courses for continuing education.

The University of Greifswald has signed agreements with academic institutions all over the world, and new collaborations are often formed. It has 186 Erasmus partnerships at 600 locations throughout 39 countries, as well as 29 university partnerships.

The Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Science (German: Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf) is a Fachhochschule in Freising, Germany. It offers degree programs at the Weihenstephan (Freising) campus, at the Triesdorf (Weidenbach) campus, and in Straubing.

There are 19 bachelor's courses and 13 master's courses across the seven faculties across two campuses that include ecological, technical, and economic themes. Students have access to their comprehensive, application-focused knowledge of teaching and research in these fields at the two locations in Weihenstephan and Triesdorf:

It has 6,095 students, including 3,870 at Weihenstephan, 2,135 at Triesdorf, and 90 at Straubing. From which 1,695 first-year students, including 1,150 from Weihenstephan and 545 from Triesdorf

The courses they offer include 19 bachelor courses, 14 dual courses, 13 master's courses, thereof and 5 with an international focus. The Employees are 154 professors, 198 scientific employees and full-time teachers for special tasks, 475 employees and 393 lecturers and part-time teachers for special tasks.

International collaboration includes 143 university partnerships, 442 international students, a German-French double degree with the partner university Agrocampus Ouest-Centre d'Angers and the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences was one of twelve German universities to be awarded the European Quality Seal - E-Quality 2011

Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences

WiSo Nuremberg (School of Business, Economics, and Society), is a public research university located in the city of Nuremberg in Bavaria. The Nuremberg Commercial College, which began at Findelgasse 7 in 1919 with only 180 students, is where the School of Business, Economics, and Society got its start.
