Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

With emphasis on practical experience, hybrid teaching/learning scenarios and working in small groups with a problem-based learning approach, the degree programme teaches students how to understand the market and apply this knowledge in a manner that is geared to both customers and competitors. Our graduates are able to identify underlying sales and marketing problems and apply the right tools to formulate sales and marketing strategies.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Master program International Relations and cultural diplomacy will enable graduates to deal with complex situations that result from globalized societies and economies. The International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy programme provides a deep understanding of international politics, society and economics with a strong intercultural focus. Cultural Diplomacy facilitates and improves relationships and collaboration between disparate cultures. Together "International Relations" and "Cultural Diplomacy" open new horizons based on intercultural understanding in a globalized society.

The Semester contributions totaling 130 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administration fee 70 EUR, Student services fee (includes accident, liability and theft insurance on the University grounds) 47 EUR and Student Union contribution 13 EUR. 
The application fee of 70 EUR must be paid and received by the ICD (payment options will be sent to you via email)

Cambridge FCE, University Degree obtained with a higher education of an English-speaking country, Educational Certificate of an English-Speaking School can be used as proof of language requirement

Master in Business Management focus on international management, it enables you to build on the knowledge gained during your undergraduate studies and complements it with management tools and theories for an international setting. Combined with a high practical orientation, you will be able to manage international businesses of all sizes and business areas. The whole Master programme, with either the pre-semester or the semester abroad, will then take 4 semesters. Applicants who already have 210 ECTS including 30 ECTS in business can spend a semester abroad voluntarily.

Bachelor in Finance and Management offers you a wealth of information in the field of business and economics fundamentals on one hand, and financial management, on the other. Whether you are interested in financial planning, business taxation or corporate finance - the undergraduate program Bachelor of Finance combines the classic management and economics principles of business administration studies with extensive knowledge on the management of the financial sector.
Note: The program can also be completed under 7 semester duration within global track that includes an integrated semester abroad in the fourth semester. During the semester abroad, you will acquire valuable intercultural and linguistic skills as well as international financial knowledge.

Students from EU and EWR have to pay an enrollment fee of 600 EUR and Non-EU-students have to pay 1500 EUR

Foreign applicants who cannot certify a B2-level in German do have to take German as second foreign language during their studies

The Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena is a public research university in Jena, Thuringia, Germany. The university was founded in 1558 and is one of Germany's ten oldest universities. It has six Nobel Prize winners, the most recent being Jena graduate. The university was at the epicenter of the emergence of German idealism and early Romanticism at the turn of the nineteenth century. As of 2014, the university had approximately 19,000 students and 375 professors enrolled. Herbert Kroemer, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2000.
