The Master program of International Studies in Intellectual Property Law is a postgraduate course offering students specialized knowledge on Intellectual Property Law, in particular Copyright, Data Protection, Trademark and Patent Law. The main focus lies on legal questions associated with new technologies, multimedia and the internet. The program is unique in offering participants not only a practice-oriented specialization in the field of Intellectual Property Law, but also the opportunity to acquire an excellent knowledge of foreign languages and legal terminology.

The Semester contributions totaling 290.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Union fee 87.50 EUR, Student Council and Student Representation fee 7.60 EUR and Semester Ticket fee 195.20 EUR
Students have to pay first semester fee at Dresden University of Technology and fee for consecutive semester may vary depending on partner university chosen by the students
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in law, computer science, engineering, media studies, or other subject. Graduates of a non-juridical university course may be admitted if they can prove that they have sufficient legal knowledge (at least 5 ECTS).
