The Liberal Arts and Sciences program offers interdisciplinary training that allows for individual emphases. Liberal Arts and Sciences teaches students intellectual flexibility across disciplines and enables them to apply the acquired skills to complex academic and practical questions. Program prepares them for careers in international environments that demand fast and efficient adaptation to varying and complex challenges on a day to day basis. Finally, students will learn how to self-responsibly and self-confidently continue to Advanced their intellectual development after graduation, for and beyond their careers.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 161.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Students union fee (SWFR) 84.00 EUR, Administrative fee 70.00 EUR and student council fee 7.00 EUR

Cambridge FCE, OOPT (60-79 points), TOEIC with minimum 785 points in listening/reading, 160 points in speaking and 150 points in writing; Completion of an English-taught undergraduate degree can be used as proof of language requirement

Environmental Pollution Management (Ecotoxicology) is concerned with potential impacts on the ecosystem. It aims to investigate and discover effects of chemicals on biological systems in order to develop methods for risk management, as well as to predict ecological consequences. The international "Master of Science program in Environmental Pollution Management (Ecotoxicology)" integrates concepts of Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Toxicology, Ecology, Pollution Management and includes Social Sciences and Economics as well. Due to Its interdisciplinary and applied approach, the Program enables Its graduates to analyze complex environmental problems and to develop practical solutions.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Semester contributions totaling  170.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Social contribution for the student association 95.00 EUR, Social contribution for AStA 15.00 EUR, General Semester Ticket with evening and weekend arrangements  27.50 EUR and UniCard 10.00 EUR (first issue of the new student ID at Landau campus)

Good active and passive English language skills are essential. Following official English language certificates are accepted: IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge Certificate

Environmental Pollution Management - Ecotoxicology

Master in Fish Biology, Fisheries and Aquaculture  is exceptional in that it covers three different domains: Fish Biology and Evolution of Fishes and Fisheries Management and  Fish Conservation as well as Aquaculture. You will learn about the factors that have driven the evolution of fish species and understand the relevant extant taxa, their diversity and their biology.

 Friedensau Adventist University (German: Theologische Hochschule Friedensau) is a branch of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system. The university, which is located in the village of Friedensau, about 120 kilometers from Berlin, was founded in 1899 and is Europe's oldest Seventh-day Adventist-owned university. The German government has accredited its courses of study and degrees. The campus is bilingual, with classes offered in both German and English. As of 2017, the university had 200 students from 30 countries enrolled in accredited German language courses, including students studying abroad for a year at Friedensau.

Even though finding a room is relatively easy around this University, we highly recommend to not to wait for long. To secure a place, start applying as soon you get an admission.

The University of Potsdam is a public university located in Potsdam, the state capital of Brandenburg, Germany, that was established in 1991. The majority of it is spread out over three campuses in the city. The Institution of Potsdam, which is currently the biggest university in Brandenburg, is mostly spread among three campuses on the outskirts of the city.

The campus Am Neuen Palais, which is in the immediate proximity of the Park of Sanssouci, is home to the Faculty of Arts. In rural Golm, where one of the largest science parks of the region has grown, there are the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Human Sciences. The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, the Law Faculty and Faculty of Digital Engineering are in Griebnitzsee, not very far from Babelsberg with its historical film studios.
