The Bachelor degree programme Film and Motion Design is divided into various modules. In the foundational modules, you will learn the basic principles and techniques of artistic crafts. And You'll be able to develop your own specialisations in elective modules. You will create music videos, documentaries, animation films and experimental short films. You will also design motion graphics, animated logos, explainer videos or spatial multimedia installations. The theoretical element will cover important historical and contemporary developments in art, film, photography and design. The interdisciplinary and international concept of the university and the future- and job-oriented Bachelor in Film and Motion Design prepares you for the first step into the media industry, where both design skills and a growing network count.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Bachelor degree programme Photography and New Media is divided into module groups. In the basis, creative skills such as light, colour design and image composition, as well as the complete analogue and digital workflow, are taught. In parallel, the theoretical subjects provide an overview of historical and contemporary developments in art, photography, design and film.The range of interdisciplinary courses, workshops and study trips also allows students to acquire knowledge from other design courses. 

Photography and New Media

Robotics is an innovative and rapidly growing field of technology. The bachelor’s programme prepares prospective engineers for future challenges in the area of robotics with a mix of theoretical and practical education and opens the door to a promising field of employment. Driven by the digitisation of production and recent progress in artificial intelligence, there is a growing need for robots. This results in a high and long-term demand for academically qualified robotics engineers. In addition to robotics, the Bachelor programme also qualifies students for cross-sectional activities in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.

Robotics

The BA Program in English Studies is based on literature, culture and linguistics.The course provides you with knowledge about forms and developments in literature, culture and language in Great Britain and other English-speaking countries (with the exception of the USA). The various cultural productions, texts and media in which these processes take place, the social groups and institutions involved, and the transcultural dimensions of English literatures, cultures and language in the past and present are examined. Students will also acquire knowledge and skills from general literary studies, cultural studies and general and applied linguistics.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.
