Sociology

The packaging, regardless of the material and for which product, has meanwhile become ubiquitous and taken for granted. Very few are aware of the small technical marvels they are holding in their hands and how much know-how is behind them. Every food is different and is therefore produced and packaged differently. The development of packaging that ensures that the product tastes good and looks good even weeks later brings together a wide range of disciplines such as materials and their sustainability, business administration, design, process engineering, robotics and microbiology. The topics of sustainability and recycling will become even more important in the future.
In the Bachelor degree, you will acquire the scientific and practical expertise to develop packaging that meets these diverse requirements.
Note: If you start your studies in the summer semester, you will study in the StudyFLEX program. What does StudyFLEX mean? The basic course is stretched from 2 to 3 semesters and supplemented by supporting events (bridging courses, tutorials, mentoring, study advice, orientation in the professional field). The originally 7-semester course is thus designed for 8 semesters, in which 210 cp are acquired. At the beginning of your studies, you gain time to refresh your scientific basis, to develop your learning strategy and to get to know the professional field.

The Master degree in Management prepares you for your future as a manager in business and teaches you the management skills you need to take on management tasks. In addition to the technical focus, the Management course aims at your social and personal development. Semester contribution of 324.06 EUR must be paid each semester. It consist of Mobility contribution of 213.06 EUR, Social contribution for the student union of 95.00 EUR, and Student union fee of 16.00 EUR

Anglophone Studies

The Master degree in English and American Studies provides in-depth academic knowledge of one of the most influential languages ​​and a wide variety of Anglophone literatures and cultures in the world. The courses on offer in this research-oriented Master program come from the fields of English and American literature and cultural studies, English linguistics and philosophy. Completion of this degree can enable doctoral studies in a humanities or cultural studies subject at many universities.
