The international Master program Materials Chemistry and Mineralogy deals with a broad range of natural materials, with the spectrum of topics from practice and basic research spanning the entire range from raw material to end product. The profile focuses on natural and technically produced inorganic, non-metallic materials, and structural characterisation of volume and surface properties. The degree programme opens up numerous fields of activity for graduates in industrial sectors such as glass and ceramics, building materials and chemistry, waste disposal and landfill management, electronics, paper, paints, pharmaceuticals, steel and other material-related areas, and on the other hand in state and industrial institutions with laboratories for the analysis and characterisation of materials.

The Semester contributions totalling 347.26 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Service fee 85.00 EUR, AstA contribution fee 16.00 EUR, Semester ticket fee 194.41 EUR, Kultursemesterticket fee 1.85 EUR and Administrative fee 50.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a university degree in Chemistry, crystallography, materials science, mineralogy with 180 ECTS.
Applicants have to participate in online aptitude test.
University degree in English is accepted as proof of language requirement
