The Master program Matter to Life at the University of Göttingen is an interdisciplinary research-oriented course of study that qualifies for demanding tasks in research and development and leads to a Master of Science. The program is part of the Max Planck School Matter to Life, a joint initiative of several German universities and research institutes. Two different specific foci in Matter to Life is offered in this program in University of Göttingen and Heidelberg University.

The Semester contributions totalling 350.48 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administrative fee 75.00 EUR, Students body Contribution fee 14.00 EUR, Train semester ticket fee 92.44 EUR, Bus Semester ticket fee 50.90 EUR, Culture semester ticket fee 11.14 EUR and Student union fee 107.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering or in a related subject with at least three years of study and at least 180 Credits.
Successful applicants will be invited to a Admission Interview process.
Applicants whose native language is not English must provide proof of their English skills
