Applied Photonics

This degree program is aimed at graduates of Bachelor programs in the fields of Technology and computer science  as well as graduates of business-related degree programs with a focus on Technology. Over the course of three semesters  students acquire the skills necessary to come up with interdisciplinary solutions to safety and security problems in the areas of industrial automation  control systems and critical infrastructure. This practical degree program focuses on a range of subjects including IT security  data protection  functional security  IT law and employee management.

The Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Safety and Security is a bilingual study program. Languages of instruction are German (50 %) and English (50%).

The international Master World Heritage Studies provides the practical skills and theoretical knowledge to identify  protect  manage and present cultural and natural heritage sites. Students are encouraged to question how the World Heritage concept is understood and how it works around the world. World heritage studies (Hybrid)

The Master program euro hydroinformatics and water management is Human intervention in the environment creates situations  which are becoming increasingly complicated to deal with in the context of global climate change and world population growth. The management of water resources from the point of view of self-sustaining development is thus one of the major challenges of our time. A global goal must therefore be to avoid or at least to minimize the risk of crises in water supply  irrigation  flooding and sewage treatment.

The main objective of the Master course is to train future scientists and qualified engineers as decision makers in modelling and management of water technology  projects related to environmental issues  and in the use of modern information and communication technologies of Hydroinformatics.

In the Master program Expanded media Creating media experiences that have an impact on users' real lives and can bring about real changes is what the English-language Master programme 'Expanded Media' is all about. The focus of such new  transmedia media architectures is the personal experience: users want to feel personally involved and try to draw personal benefits for their lives from the media experience. In international teams  students develop media offerings that explore this potential. In interdisciplinary media productions  they combine real and media worlds of experience and develop a new media language based on the user/audience experience. HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration is a private business school located in Hamburg, Germany. Founded by Hamburg Chamber of Commerce in 2004, HSBA now cooperates with more than 300 companies. As a state-recognised third-level institution, it offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business as cooperative education (in German: "dual") and part-time courses for 1000 students.

University of Applied Management Studies

The University of Potsdam is a public university located in Potsdam, the state capital of Brandenburg, Germany, that was established in 1991.
