The Master program Creative Technologies combines audio-visual media technologies and software development studies with an artistic-creative exploration of novel forms of expression in film and digital media art. Creative-artistic computer scientists as well as technically oriented media designer come together in the context of the Film University to experiment with technology  creativity and film with an interdisciplinary approach.

Focus are all mechanisms that contribute to the magic of movies: from graphics  sound and visual effects over traditional production processes to novel forms of storytelling in XR (Virtual Reality  Mixed Reality  Augmented Reality)  cross-media  and interactive.

All applicants to B.A. and M.A. programs must apply online via the university's application portal.

This program seeks students to enhance students’ knowledge of pharmaceutical products and processes in response to industry needs  especially in pharmaceutical production and development.The Pharmaceutical Technology  Purification Techniques  Cell Culture Systems and Bioanalytics modules follow the typical sequence of development of a new active ingredient in the pharmaceutical industry. In this way  you will learn to recognise the links between the identification  production and administration of active substances  come to understand the meaning of pharmacological parameters  and engage with quality control and quality assurance for developed products. Taking these skills into your future career  you will be able to formulate recommendations on an active ingredient use  work in a team to realise these recommendations  and analyse developments or propose improvements.

The language of instruction and assessment is English  but German is spoken in all laboratories and is the predominant language in use at HAW Hamburg.

The understanding of the processes in the Earth's interior and on the Earth's surface is furthered using scientific methods; the spatio-temporal dynamics of the Earth System are studied and investigated in a comprehensive and holistic manner. Applied Geosciences

The Master program focus on development of mechatronic systems, however, is more than the mere assembly of subsystems or components from these areas; in fact, mechatronics means the fusion of the three disciplines from the very beginning of the development process.
