The Master programme in Communication Design [120 ECTS] merges theory and practice in order to strengthen knowledge and skill set, as well as hone the ability to develop relevant solutions and an Advanced design process. The programme promotes creative design skills, knowledge of the theories and history of art and design, the ability to critically analyse contemporary phenomena, and the practical understanding of both analogue and digital media implementation.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Physics Fast Track

Heidelberg University

The postgraduate course in British studies is an interdisciplinary teaching programme over 2 years. Having successfully completed the Certificate Phase during the first year, students receive a British Studies certificate. After successful completion of the entire course, students are awarded the degree M.A. British Studies. The Certificate Phase comprises about 30 weeks of teaching stretching over 2 semesters. The first semester (Core Programme) consists of a series of compulsory lectures and seminars. In the second semester (Options Programme) students can choose 3 out of 6 options (see course outline below). Students have to attend an average of at least 20 hours of classes per week. These may include suitable classes taught in other departments.

In the Master Programme Politics and Public Administration students gain specialist knowledge in the fields of political science, administration science and management science together with the skills to work and research independently and to apply the methods and knowledge with practical orientation. Specialisation areas include Comparative Politics and Public Policy, Management and Public Administration, International Politics. The study programme has an international emphasis and integrates scientific work with practical applications. You will learn how to analyse the interactive influences of interests, power relationships, action strategies, conflicts and conflict solutions.

Languages of instruction are English and German. You can complete your academic performance assessments in these languages. The Master thesis can be written in English or German
