The Master programme Applied BioTechnology (ABI)  you will combine profound methodological and technical knowledge from bioTechnology with management skills. The English-language study programme optimally enables you to take on laboratory and project management responsibilities in biotechnological companies  institutions and authorities.
Today's challenges can no longer be solved without modern bioTechnology. For the implementation of biotechnological findings in innovative and sustainable products  it is necessary to closely interlink biotechnological expertise with management skills.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

In TOEIC, the listening/reading level should be 785, the speaking level should be 160 and the writing level should be 150

Applied BioTechnology

The course of the seven-semester Bachelor degree  knowledge of classic business administration is imparted  as well as basic knowledge of engineering  with the aim of integrating business and Technology. This means that you are able to do the work of a classic engineer  such as construction  materials science in manufacturing  as well as topics related to human resource management  cost-benefit analysis  marketing and sales. In addition to the specialist skills  social and methodological skills are also trained during the course. The course is international and the lectures are held in English. The course not only qualifies you for tasks in a national environment  but also for international activities.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

No contribution fee is charged, but the registration fee for applicants from non-EU countries is 150 EUR
