The Master program is research-oriented and comparable in time and orientation to the previous program in physics. In the course of the Master program, students acquire the ability to work independently on scientific issues. This ability is of fundamental importance, both for a later doctorate and for a successful activity as a physicist outside research in later professional life.

The Semester contributions totalling 158.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Services Student union Tübingen-Hohenheim AöR fee 84.80 EUR, Administration fee 70.00 EUR and Student union fee 3.50 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in physics or an equivalent degree with at least including the grade 3.3 or equivalent.
