The Environmental and Resource Management study programme offers an integrated approach to current environmental issues. Recognising that these issues can no longer be solved by a single discipline  the programme combines the knowledge of several closely related fields. Classes are offered in fundamental technical subjects as well as in natural sciences  sociology  and economics. Starting from this basis  more specific courses deal with current environmental issues such as techniques of resource protection  concepts of environmental planning  risk and impact assessment  as well as socioeconomic implications. The acquisition of management and social skills  and technical and scientific knowledge are therefore highly valued and considered indispensable.

All applicants with a German higher education entrance qualification can apply directly to the myBTU portal for their desired course of study programme. This applied also for students who are or were already enrolled at one of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg locations and would like to apply for a Bachelor's study programme or a change of study programme.

Students who received their last entrance qualification abroad and wish to apply for a Bachelor's programme have to apply via My assist.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Master programme Biomedical sciences offers a broad scope of in-depth insights in the biomedical field. In particular, the programme covers research topics from biomedicine, pharmacology, human genetics, neurobiology, immunology and physiology.
