The Master Programme offers specialization in the fields “Pharmaceutical Biotechnology” or “Industrial Biotechnology”. Pharmaceutical Biotechnology covers all relevant aspects for the development of new biotechnology based drugs, starting from drug target identification to up- and downstream processing till final formulation. It also provides a basis for understanding the mechanisms and processes of diseases. Industrial Biotechnology covers all relevant aspects on the development of new industrial biotechnological processes, starting from access to and pretreatment of renewable resources to up- and downstream processing till the application and process optimization.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 116.10 EUR must be paid each semester.It includes Semester ticket 60 EUR and University semester fee 56.10 EUR

The contents of this humanistic program of study provide an in-depth and critical examination of English-speaking cultural areas, with a focus on Great Britain and the USA. Students of the Master program in Culture and Economy take a specialist subject and, depending on their prior knowledge, can either opt for Business Administration or Economics.

The North American Studies degree provides specialist knowledge of the United States and Canada in six disciplines - history, cultural studies, literary studies, political science, sociology and economics. Students select three of the above disciplines for their specialization (e.g. history, literature and economics). The professional perspectives are supplemented by interdisciplinary courses - for example in regularly offered interdisciplinary lecture series in which lecturers from all six disciplines present.

Study program addresses changes related to internationalization and globalization thus lays the foundations for a successful career in an international company.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The European Master in Translational Cosmetic and Dermatological Sciences trains the next generation of Research and Development leaders in the dermatological and dermocosmetic field, but at the same time provides sufficient know-how to allow graduates to work in other pharmaceutical and cosmetic Research and Development sectors. The aggregate market for medicines and cosmetics in the world is over two trillion euros, 10% of which is solely for skin disorders. EMOTION is a two-year Master degree. In the last semester, a personalized program will bring the student to perform her/his thesis work either in industry or in academia.

European Master on Translational Cosmetic and Dermatological Sciences

The study programme is realised as a Double Degree Master in Sustainability and Environmental Psychology in cooperation with the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Accordingly, the programme covers both human perception and behaviour related to sustainable development on the one hand and the interplay between humans and their natural and built environments on the other hand. The programme focuses on psychological processes such as problem-solving, decision-making, self-regulation, social identification, attitude change, or conflict resolution and their impacts on present and future generations quality of life.

Psychology and Sustainability

Biochemistry Master degree program provides theoretical and practical training in the key areas of biochemistry through lecture series, methodology courses and lab rotations at the University of Bonn and at partner institutions. Biochemistry

University of Bonn

Master program in Biblical Studies (MBSt) will be offered by the Faculty of Protestant Theology in cooperation with the Centre for Religion and Society, at the public University of Excellence in Bonn, Germany.  As a research-oriented course, the Master program in Biblical Studies opens up the possibility of subsequent doctoral studies – at the University of Bonn or elsewhere. Competencies acquired in the Master program go beyond biblical exegesis. You will also develop intercultural skills and the ability to participate in an international academic discourse.

Master of Education (for teaching at grammar schools and comprehensive schools) can be completed with combination of any other major subject. Studying educational sciences is a compulsory part of teacher training for all student teachers - regardless of the chosen combination of subjects or the type of school.

The Semester contributions totalling 316.03 EUR must be paid each semester. Master in Aeronautical Management program is designed for pilots and engineers.
