The research-based Master program in Sociology – European Societies concentrates on the description and analysis of the social aspects of Europeanization. In the focus are socio-cultural and cultural differences, similarities and conflicts in a comparative perspective. Changes of societies on a national level as a result of economic, political and social Europeanization will be analyzed. The course also considers Europe and Europeanization within a global context and in comparison to other regions of the world.

The Semester contributions totaling 312.89 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Enrollment fee 50 EUR, Social contribution for Students union fee 54.09 EUR, Student government fee (Studierendenschaft) 10.00 EUR and; Semester ticket, tariff area ABC, Social fund fee 198.80 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in sociology or equivalent.
Degree obtained in English language of instruction is accepted as proof of proficiency
