The internationally oriented, English-language continuing education course Master of Science Solar Energy Engineering offers students a broad-based interdisciplinary technical and Scientific training in the field of solar energy production. In close cooperation with institutes inside and outside the university, in particular the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems, the course offers the opportunity to specialize in one or more sub-areas of solar energy generation, such as Solar cell technologies, photovoltaic systems, solar thermal energy, material and cell characterization or System integration and power grids. The program also offers great career opportunities for graduates. 
The course duration differs for the credit points offered; for 90 ECTS credits the duration is 5 semester and for the 120 ECTS credits the duration is 7 semester.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 161.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Students union fee (SWFR) 84.00 EUR, Administrative fee 70.00 EUR and student council fee 7.00 EUR

Solar Energy Engineering (Online)

University of Freiburg

The research-oriented Master program Economic Policy Analysis provides students with skills necessary to analyze independently complex economic issues using theoretical and empirical methods. The study program focuses on the analysis of economic policy measures in various policy areas (e.g. trade policy, labor markets, social policy and environmental policy).

Teaching language is English. The student body is multinational. It is also possible to take German-language modules at the faculty in the field of specialization and supplementary areas

The Semester contributions totalling 129.90 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes student union fee 77.00 EUR, Semester ticket for the MVB fee 41.40 EUR and Student body contribution 11.50 EUR

English language proficiency can also be proven by at least 30 CP gained from modules taught in English in a German study program or an average grade of minimum 10 points (4 semesters with exam) in the subject English proved with the German school leaving certificate Abitur

Economic Policy Analysis

Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg

Master program in Econometrics is offered jointly by the UA Ruhr Universities: TU Dortmund University, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, and the University of Duisburg-Essen (Essen campus). It combines the expertise of the three participating business departments in empirical economic research and economics with the methodologically oriented training in statistics and econometrics at Dortmund. This bundling of educational and research Competencies enables a specialized curriculum covering a wide range of topics in econometrics and economics.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Semester contributions totaling 317.25 EUR must be paid each semester. Econometrics

TU Dortmund University
