The MIMA programme at Nuremberg Tech teaches you the foundations of international marketing in theory and practice. The programme will also enhance your leadership and creative teamwork skills. The Master in International Marketing encompasses a wide range of subjects which provide students with a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of international marketing. They include key theories and concepts as well as the ability to apply a significant range of professional skills, practices and techniques in marketing, sales and planning departments of multinational companies, international corporations or other global institutions.

All lectures and course materials are available in English,
meaning that you can complete the entire MIMA programme without attending a German lecture. However, we strongly recommend that international students take advantage of the opportunity to improve their German language skills

International Marketing

Nuremberg Institute of Technology

With an International Management Master you work specifically on your previous business knowledge and qualify for a leading position in business. In addition to the business content, you will also choose your own individual focus. International Management Theory and Practice are closely interlinked. The integrated practical phases offer you extensive opportunities to gain your own practical experience and prove yourself in various areas.
Course is also available in Fast Track basis. Under fast track basis, semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your Master degree in only 3 semesters with 90 ECTS.
Note: In International Management you can earn an international double degree. In addition to the Master degree at ISM, you will also receive a second, internationally recognised Master degree. At some partner universities, this is even possible as part of the integrated semester abroad. You will receive two Master degrees in two or two and a half years and make a decisive step for your international career.

Students from EU and EWR have to pay an enrollment fee of 600 EUR and Non-EU-students have to pay 1500 EUR

English language proficiency can also be proven as follows:  Cambridge (FCE) test score or a degree in English Studies or at least 30 ECTS in an English-language higher education program or a native speaker (will be assessed on a case-by-case basis)

International Management (Full Time)

International School of Management (ISM)

Master programme in Media and Communication Psychology deals with marketing communication and examine it with regard to psychological effects. You will learn about general topics of psychology such as perception, learning, memory, cognition, motivation and emotion as well as social psychological theories and models. In addition, you will gain insights into the different effects of media formats and know how to classify them.
Note: The course can be studied in two part-time versions. Part-time fast version with 6 semester and part-time slow version with 8 semester.

Students have to pay an enrollment fee of 690 EUR 

Media and Communication Psychology (Online)

The Master programme is designed to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of English literatures and cultures and a methodological approach to literary studies. The programme is designed to prepare and qualify for employment in the cultural professions and the media, academic posts as well as for a broad range of jobs requiring sophisticated Competencies in the writing of texts, in organisation, and communication.

The Semester contributions totaling 315.64 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester fee 50.00 EUR, Contribution to the student body fee 9.75 EUR, Contribution to Student Services fee 54.09 EUR, Semester ticket for public transport 193.80 EUR and Solidarity contribution to the semester ticket 8.00 EUR

English Literatures

The Master program in Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) enables students to contribute towards the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals through both research and practice. The interdisciplinary study program offers students scientific perspectives to analyse society-nature interactions. While the program has a strong focus on institutional and neoclassical economics, methodology and theory is incorporated from various academic fields of both natural and social sciences, including environmental and political sciences, institutional analysis, and Advanced methods. International students have ample opportunity for intensive academic exchange and work with scientists from policy- and sustainability-oriented research institutes in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

This research-oriented Master program in Chinese Studies is a novelty in sinological education. Focusing on Transformation and Particularity in China, the program combines content courses with Advanced language training. Recognised experts will teach students in fields ranging from contemporary political studies to heritage and innovation in imperial China. Students may specialize on either pre-modern or contemporary topics. Apart from equipping students with an excellent command of both Mandarin and Classical Chinese, the program provides deep insights into China’s past and present internal dynamics.

The Master programme in Economics aims to deepen students knowledge after the successful completion of a Bachelor degree. Over the course of the Economics Master of Science programme, taught in English, you will become qualified to accept responsibility for tasks in companies or in senior service, to perform a freelance profession and to conduct autonomous scientific work. Alongside improving competence in applying analytical methods in the core subjects of micro- and macroeconomics as well as econometrics, the autonomous acquisition and adoption of important research methods during seminars is also a major focus.

‌Economics

Kiel University

The two-subject Master program with the profile of teaching at grammar schools is aimed at students who, after completing a Bachelor degree and a two-subject Master degree, aspire to become a teacher at secondary level I and II at grammar schools and community schools. In addition, teachers with the qualification to teach at grammar schools in the subjects studied can be employed in a suitable training course at vocational schools.

Graduates of the Kiel University Bachelor degree, on which this Master is based and for which the required prerequisites have already been proven, do not have to prove language prerequisites again
