In this Master programme students acquire Advanced knowledge and research practice in biodiversity, ecology, evolution, systematics, nature conservation biology, and forensic biology. Moreover, students have access to a broad spectrum of modules across faculties for further scientific specialisation and qualification as well as professional practice. The program offers the opportunity for a Double-Degree degree at one of the partner universities Aarhus (DK), Amsterdam (NL) or Rennes I (Brittany).

Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in the field of life or environmental sciences or related disciplines in organismic biology.
UNIcert III, NULTE-Certificates with at least level C1, CAE/CEF, at least two years of studying or working in an English-speaking country within three years prior to application, a successfully completed degree programme of at least two years with English as exclusive teaching language is accepted as proof of language requirement
Documents must be translated in English or German
Statement on former applications for Master programs and Statement upon former completion (with or without success) of other Master programs is required for admission
