The study program on Communication Systems and Networks allows students to achieve a deeper understanding of the complex features of modern and future communication systems and services. Students have opportunity to study double degree abroad at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).

The Semester contributions totaling 319.20 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administrative fee for Kölner Student union fee 100.00 EUR, Public transport pass fee for North Rhine-Westphalia 202.60 EUR (including NRW SemesterTicket fee 59.40 EUR, VRS semester ticket fee 142.90 EUR and solidarity contribution 0.30 EUR), AStA fee 15,60 EUR (includes university sports fee 1.75 EUR and faculty student association fee 1.35 EUR) and Rental bikes fee 1.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes an university degree in a suitable scientific or technological field with a minimum of 210 ECTS credits. The minimum required grade is 2.3 (German grading system) or equivalent. The first-cycle degree is to provide the technical and specialist knowledge required to pursue the Master program.
A degree program is deemed suitable if it includes modules from the fields of mathematics, physics, electrical engineering and computer science worth at least 110 credits.
Admission process includes selection procedure.
English native speakers are exempt from proving language proficiency
English language proficiency can also be proven by way of Annotation in the Abitur certificate confirming English language proficiency on at least B2 level']
