Master

The Master program in Computer Science focuses on specializing students in at least one field of computer science. Having completed this programme, graduates will be able to define, autonomously and comprehensively, computer science problems and their applications, structure theme and build abstract models. Moreover, you will have the relevant knowledge to define and implement state-of-the-art solutions. This program is offered as a double degree in cooperation with  INSA Lyon, ENSIIE Evry-Paris, SUP'COM Tunisie and ENSI Tunisie.

The programme can be studied in German and English 

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Degree obtained in English medium of instruction is accepted as proof of language proficiency

Master in Computer Science provides an ideal environment for pursuing successful, interdisciplinary, research-driven studies in informatics. Teaching modules covering core areas of theoretical and practical informatics enable students to improve their abilities in abstract reasoning and enhance their mathematical and technical understanding of the subject. The Master  programme also offers students the opportunity to tailor course content to reflect individual areas of interest. 

The Semester contributions totalling 293.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Saarland Student Services fee of 98.70 EUR,  Personal accident, theft and public liability insurance cover fee 1.30 EUR, Payment to the General Student Committee (AStA) 13.00 EUR, Administrative charge fee 50.00 EUR and Semester travel ticket fee 130.00 EUR

English native speakers are exempt from providing language proficiency

The Master course of studies in Computer Science deepens and extends the technical basis acquired in the Bachelor Course of Studies Computer Science in fundamentals, systems, and applications. In particular, this improves the abilities for planning, designing and realization of information systems as well as the professional qualification. When studying, the impartment and application of deepening knowledge in two larger partial areas of computer science is being focused. Thus, the students are being taught up to the cutting edge of these particular partial areas.
