The interdisciplinary course of study Crop Protection unifies the subject areas that deal with the cause, development and spread of damage to crops, the development and application of efficient preventative and curative measures to fight damage as well as their effects on environment and society. A broad range of disciplines including plant pathology, nematology, entomology, virology, weed science, pesticide use, legislation and toxicology, molecular phytopathology, mycotoxin research, plant nutrition, plant breeding and plant biotechnology. Graduated students will be able to select and combine suitable technologies to solve the problems of crop protection and increase crop production efficiency.

The Semester contributions totalling 350.48 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administrative fee 75.00 EUR, Students body Contribution fee 14.00 EUR, Train semester ticket fee 92.44 EUR, Bus Semester ticket fee 50.90 EUR, Culture semester ticket fee 11.14 EUR and Student union fee 107.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in agricultural sciences, biology or a related discipline with grade of 2.5 oe better.
All applicants must attend admission interview.
Students with a one year study or working experience in an English speaking country within the last five years do not need the proof of English proficiency
