Master in Ecological Engineering deals with preserving ecosystems and protecting the environment. Various types of land use are competing globally for the limited space available. You will learn to understand the effects of these conflicts on ecosystems and to develop interdisciplinary environmental planning. Design sustainable land use strategies, e.g. for resource-conserving agriculture or forestry or for ecologically acceptable wastewater treatment solutions. Design methods to prevent and eliminate environmental problems and deepen your understanding of societal demands. Note: Course can also be studied on part-time basis (6 semesters or 8 semesters in part time)

Minimum requirement includes a qualified Bachelor degree of at least six semesters in the fields of landscape architecture and landscape planning, biology, geography, environmental engineering, agricultural or forestry sciences or related study programs.
Selection takes place through an aptitude assessment procedure (includes admission interview).
German proficiency can also be proven by Qualification Assessment Examination, International Baccalaureate certificate with German at high level, General Higher Education Qualification from a European School in Germany or Diploma from a German educational institution
