The Master program in Environmental Geography is and interdisciplinary field with a marked focus on the environment-society nexus. The core disciplines address the environmental changes that are of crucial importance to life on planet Earth. In addition to climate change, the major contemporary challenges include changes in biodiversity, soil degradation, and increases in mass movements. Often the dynamics of such environmental processes require and understanding of the spatial and temporal couplings between the atmosphere, biosphere, relief sphere, pedosphere, and hydrosphere. Graduates are prepared for a broad range of career opportunities in the private and public sectors. 


Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 137.97 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Association of Student Services fee 72.00 EUR and Semester Ticket fee 65.97 EUR

The Master of Science programme in International Horticulture is research oriented and well positioned to respond to the needs of actors in the horticultural sector throughout the world. Fruits, vegetables, flowers and trees – improving their quality, yield, economic performance and their eco-friendly cultivation are the domain of horticultural scientists.
Students can choose (English taught) major in Economics, major in Plant Biotechnology, Physiology and Genetics or major in Plant Production and Propagation. Major in Horticultural value chains is taught in German.

The Semester contributions totalling 404.12 EUR must be paid each semester. Master in Advanced Design of Ships and Offshore Structures provides a high education level in Naval Architecture and Ship and Offshore Design. EMSHIP gives the opportunity to candidates to demonstrate their talents and offer them the necessary skills to work in this challenging industry. European Masters course in Advanced Design of Ships and Offshore Structures includes Advanced Structure and CFD Education as well as Yacht Design and Production Technology.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.
