The M.A. in International Social Sciences (Development Studies) has a specific focus on development studies and issues around global justice. Students learn about relevant theories as well as the practical realities of the development/aid industry.
Everyone is required to do an internship and can specialize their interest through relevant electives on topics such as migration, social security, sustainability and gender.The M.A. prepares thoroughly for an academic career in development through Its emphasis on project planning courses and a focus on disaster management and a critical lens on global power relations and postcolonial perspective. Applicants who received their B.A. degree in an English-language program are exempt from providing English language proof certificate. These applicants submit a certificate from the university indicating that the medium of instruction at the university is English

The Food and Agribusiness , serves to teach and further develop Competencies for practical leadership activities and scientific work. After completing the program, graduates have the Competencies necessary for taking on a management role in the national and international food industry and agribusiness sector. Based on the study objectives, the qualifications obtained serve primarily for companies in the agricultural and food industry, but also companies in food retail and wholesale companies as well as in associations and government agencies. The primary focuses are on leadership tasks at the middle management level and tasks in the areas of quality management, product development, marketing, and consulting.

Semester contribution of 86.00 EUR includes administration fee for general registration and student union

If you do not have these certificates, other german language certificate also accepted. Alternatively, comparable degrees can be recognized for admission. In this case the student must complete the assessment test (FSP) B2 during the first semester at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences

Mathematics for Data and Resource Sciences programme focuses on the methods and techniques necessary to understand and mathematically address the challenges. Mathematical skills are indispensable for the activities of modern industrial enterprises. In addition, the necessary quantification, professional assessment and documentation of the findings of application-oriented research can only be carried out with the Advanced and qualified use of mathematical methods.

The Semester contributions totaling 94.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Students union fee 87.00 EUR and Student Council fee 7.00 EUR
