The Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, formerly known as Fachhochschule Hamburg, was founded in 1970. Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU) was established in 1965 as the successor organization to Düsseldorf's Medical Academy of 1907. It was named after German poet Heinrich Heine. Since 1993, the university has had five faculties after several expansions over the years. More than 36,000 full-time students are currently enrolled at HHU. HHU has a total staff of approximately 3,600 people.
 
 Heinrich Heine University sees itself as a civic university that attaches particular importance to opening up to society. As a dialogue-oriented and transparent research and educational institution, it actively seeks exchange between science and society and thus promotes the broadest possible public access to research and education. Activities that are aimed at the dialogue between the HHU and its members and relatives with citizens in Düsseldorf and beyond are brought together under the term "Citizens' University" and coordinated by the Citizens' University staff unit set up specifically for this purpose.
 
 The roughly triangular campus of HHU is located in the Bilk district of Düsseldorf, in the southeast. Hochschule Emden/Leer is a small but excellent university with three campuses: Emden, the Maritime Campus Leer, and the Business Campus Leer. Hochschule Emden/Leer - University of Applied Sciences

The Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) is a research and education center in intellectual property and competition law based in Munich, Germany. It was founded in 2003. The MIPLC is a collaboration between the Law School at George Washington University and three top-notch German institutions: the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, the University of Augsburg, and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). In addition, the MIPLC organizes scientific conferences. 
 
 Because of its international faculty and students from all over the world, the MIPLC offers a truly international and interdisciplinary experience. Our program is much smaller than others, with a maximum of 38 students per year. This ensures intensive interaction among students, professors, and staff, as well as personalized assistance.

The Hochschule Konstanz (Hochschule Konstanz für Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung (HTWG)), is a German university that may be found in Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, close to the Swiss border.
