M.Sc. programme in Forest Information Technology focuses on fundamental and applied knowledge of environmental information technologies (EIS) and Green IT applications in the global forestry sector. With Its interdisciplinary approach, the study programme offers a unique and innovative intercultural, international learning environment. As a student you learn to solve complex problems based on a deepened and extended understanding of data structures, algorithms as well as processes and relationships within ecosystems, based on a broad spectrum of scientific methods and tools for the collection, analysis, storage, visualization and communication of environmental and forestry data.

The aim of the Cognitive Science Master program is to impart in-depth research-oriented cognitive science knowledge. These are created in the competence network of social sciences and computer science as well as biology and neurosciences. Competence network means the interlocking of relevant competencies of the individual disciplines involved with an orientation towards people, technology, economy, organization, communication and behavior.

The Master program in Mathematical Physics is a research oriented interdisciplinary program geared towards fundamental research at the interface of mathematics and physics. In the Master program students will learn Advanced mathematical concepts and fundamental physical theories in a specific interdisciplinary study program.

The Master programme in Artificial Intelligence will provide students with skills and in-depth knowledge in the fields of machine learning, neural networks, and reinforcement learning. Students will concentrate primarily on the cognitive processes of computer-based language and image processing so that they will later be able to develop sophisticated AI systems and applications. Students will also have the additional opportunity to deepen their knowledge in various practice-oriented courses and specialise, e.g. in human-machine interaction, language and image processing, Industry 4.0 and robotics, autonomous driving, or project management for AI projects.
