The aim of the bi-national Bachelor degree in Public Governance across Borders enable students to deal with the current and future challenges of public governance at European and international level, such as political, social and economic integration, social and technological innovations, health, education, To understand and process energy and water management, migration and climate and to develop innovative solutions. The first year of study (1st + 2nd semester) takes place in Münster , the second year of study (3rd + 4th semester) in Twente . In the fifth semester , students are free to choose either to set their own priorities (semester in Münster or Twente) or to gain practical work or experience abroad in the form of an internship or Erasmus semester.

The Semester contributions totalling 316.03 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student union fee 99.11 EUR, Supplementary student insurance fee 0.23 EUR, University Sports fee 1.40 EUR, Student body fee 11.75 EUR, University radio station fee 0.30 EUR, Semester ticket for cultural events fee 3.40 EUR and Semester ticket 199.84 EUR

Non-EU students have to pay fees totaling around 5,000 EUR depending on their personal planning of the course of study. The majority consists of tuition fees from Universiteit Twente (approximately 2,000 EUR per academic year). For the second year of study in Twente (semester 3+4) it was recently decided to reduce the tuition fees by 50 percent
