The aim of the Global Studies Programme is to provide students with the theoretical knowledge, methodological and practical skills for comparative analysis of the social, political, economic and cultural dimensions of globalisation processes in a research-led institutional framework.Studies Programme (M.A. Social Sciences) is an interdisciplinary programme comprised of sociology, political science, anthropology and cultural geography. Additional courses include environmental sciences, economics and data management.

The Semester contributions totaling 161.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Students union fee (SWFR) 84.00 EUR, Administrative fee 70.00 EUR and student council fee 7.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree or equivalent in related field of study.
Cambridge Certificate FCE, CAE or CPE, OOPT (min. 60 points), UNIcert II or III, a English-speaking university/study programme can be used as proof of language proficiency and Native English speaker are exempt from providing proof of language proficiency
Research Proposal (800 words excluding references), Further certificates relevant to the programme, can be used as supporting documents for admission
Applications from China, Vietnam, India and Mongolia require APS
