The integrated American Studies Master program at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and the French Université de Bourgogne offers a literary and cultural studies-oriented course program in which in-depth knowledge of the various manifestations of Anglophone societies in the respective literary, historical, political and cultural contexts is conveyed. Students are given the opportunity to research the tradition and diversification of Anglophone literatures, cultures and languages in depth.

The Semester contributions totaling 337.39 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester ticket fee 226.14 EUR, Student union fee 94.00 EUR, Constituted student body fee 13.10 EUR, Student sports committee general university sports fee 1.60 EUR and Student aid fund AStA (General Student Committee) fee 2.55 EUR
The first degree is generally free of charge; Tuition fees or contributions of 700 EUR per semester are incurred for the second and postgraduate studies
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in American studies or in a related field.
French language proficiency of level B2 must be proven accordingly by submitting university entrance qualification that was taken at a French-speaking school or by submitting an Abi-Bac
Documents must be certified and translated in English or German
