The Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) is a research and education center in intellectual property and competition law based in Munich, Germany. It was founded in 2003. The largest of the five applied science universities in the German federal state of Brandenburg is the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (abbreviated UAS Wildau). University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf

The Fachhochschule Potsdam is a University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, which lies in the capital of the German federal state of Brandenburg. It was established in 1991, and the first classes were held in the winter semester of 1991–1992.

There are two locations for the Fachhochschule Potsdam. The majority of the classes are held in the former Adolf-Hitler Barracks of the Wehrmacht Infantry Regiment 9 at the Pappelallee Campus in northern Potsdam.

The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam's study programs are offered in German and demand for language proficiency at least at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. German language proficiency is not required for admission to the Childhood Studies and Children's Rights master's program in English. However, it is advised to have a basic understanding of German.

An international network of about 80 partner universities makes up the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences.
