The Master programme in Biomedical Engineering is designed for students who wish to pursue careers in RandD, academics, or the industry. The goal of the programme is to educate students in the interdisciplinary fields of engineering and medicine. The program provides Advanced fundamental concepts; creating knowledge from the molecular to the organ systems level; developing innovative biologics, materials, processes, implants, devices and informatics approaches for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, for patient rehabilitation, and for improving health. This program is jointly offered by the Universität zu Lübeck and Lübeck University of Applied Sciences. Graduates have a wide range of job opportunities in various branches in the field of medical technology: industry, research institutions, hospitals and so on.

Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in one of the following Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Process Engineering, Materials Technology with grade of 2.5 or equivalent.
Degree obtained in English medium of instruction is accepted as proof of language proficiency
Applicants from China, Vietnam, India and Mongolia must submit APS certificate
