The Bachelor in Computational Linguistics represents an interdisciplinary combination of the subjects General Linguistics and Computer Science and deals with the simulation of human language ability in computer-aided models. The students of the program acquire long-term, fundamental scientific qualifications aimed at systematic critical knowledge acquisition and knowledge progress, which establish a first general scientifically sound professional qualification in the field of Computational Linguistics. Students learn how to deal with computational linguistic issues in an appropriate and scientific manner. The career prospects after graduation are diverse.

The Semester contributions totalling 158.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Services Student union Tübingen-Hohenheim AöR fee 84.80 EUR, Administration fee 70.00 EUR and Student union fee 3.50 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a University Entrance qualification (Abitur) or equivalent.
TOEFL, IELTS, is accepted as proof of language requirement
Applicants with a German Abitur and applicants whose mother tongue is English or who have graduated from an English-speaking secondary school do not need any additional proof, since the B2 level is already proven
