Master

The Master in Data Science will qualify students to analyse big data efficiently and to create systems/solutions for Machine Learning. Therefore they will be all set for future industrial demands. The focus areas of this Data Science Master are Urban Technologies and Intelligent Machines and is explicitly interdisciplinary constructed. After the basic knowledge of Data Science (as Computer Science and Statistics) students will be taught about a wide range of Machine Learning methods.

Most of the resources in the field of data science are in English and the MSc Programme will be taught exclusively in English.

Our Mining Engineering students will be trained in a diversity of fields regarding the raw material production. The main focus is on gaining in-depth knowledge in exploration  extraction  conveying and the processing of raw materials. In addition  students will gain practice from outside the main subject such as interpersonal skills. The combination of different disciplines guarantees a complete preparation for the graduate’s future professional development as a mining engineer. The student will achieve competence from both university and internships and thus be able to cope with functions in leadership and engineering practice  also working interdisciplinary and considering sustainability.



It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Mechatronics is an exciting interdisciplinary field of engineering, based on mechanical and electrical engineering as well as signal and data processing. It can also be seen as a new design philosophy, where these fields are treated in an integrated way.
