The Master program in Development Economics offers a wide array of development relevant courses, a specialization in quantitative or agricultural economics. All these features together with the concluding Master thesis will enable students to analyze current issues in development economics and prepare them for successful careers as development specialists in government agencies, supra-national or non-governmental organizations, research, and the private sector.

The Semester contributions totalling 350.48 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administrative fee 75.00 EUR, Students body Contribution fee 14.00 EUR, Train semester ticket fee 92.44 EUR, Bus Semester ticket fee 50.90 EUR, Culture semester ticket fee 11.14 EUR and Student union fee 107.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in Economics comprising at least 180 ECTS.
Applicants have to complete admission interview.
Native speakers, Degree program completed in English language study or work stay abroad of at least two years in length in an English-speaking country is accepted as proof of language requirement
Applicants from China, India, Mongolia and Vietnam require APS certificate
Documents must be translated in English or German
